You have to ask though if all the guys who gain with pumping as part of their routine would have gained just as well without it ?
I don’t think I’ve ever read someone say they weren’t gaining with manuals then they added pumping and started gaining.

Oddly yes - I had hit a plateau and was going to take a decon break when I got my first pump, and it got the gains going again. I tend to use pumping the same way someone would, for example, sling an extender on after hanging. But I definitely gained both length and girth from pumping which I wouldn’t have gained without it, although I always used it in concert with other methods.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Wise pumping is beneficial for the penis, that is recognized even in clinical texts. So why shouldn’t be able to have a synergistic effect? A big part of the problem here is : how many people pump wisely? My guess is 1 on 100. So hard to disentangle the mistery.

It’s more evidence that PE needs a good rounded approach like a lot of other things.

In the end, is all trial and error. The strange thing is : you do something for a while without any gains. Then, that very same things that were unuseful start working, without you changing anything.

For sure. Most of us have preferred methods and routines, and some of us are ardent proponents or vehement opponents of some of them, with success varying from person to person. But I doubt there’s a man here who would subject himself to a truly long-term, rigorous study of each individual method in use here. And there’s definitely one who would willingly be part of the control group.

Group A only pumps for 36 months; Group B only clamps; Group C only jelqs. And Ferservadu, you’re in Group D, the control group. You'll do no PE at all for three full years.

Not a chance, brother. I’m currently on day 5 of my week off from PE, and I can’t wait for Sunday to roll around so I can get going again.

Yep. That’s why I change up myroutine every now and then. You never know what make kick start growth.

When it comes down to girth, and possibly length also, your penis grows/develops from within, the pressure must on your chambers to expand, simply stretching your skin using a vacuum approach WILL not develop a bigger penis, and if it did, it would certainly be a sack dick, which is a penis that would have very poor EQ, and would appear baggy weather erect or flaccid!
Save you precious PE time, for girth exercises that actually work and don’t just stroke your ego.

If you read the first 600 or so posts on this thread alone and the EXPERIENCE (your emphasis) of many on the many other pumping threads, you will find that there is not only good records of success with pumping, there is good science as well. I know that my fellow posters (also hoping theirs will also become a post) and I, who spent many hours researching, thinking and writing 6 1/2 years ago when this thread was very active, would not consider this bro science. Though I personally was emphasizing the static and reproducible full erection state and was questioning whether a pump could produce further gains on a non-compliant tunica in many of my posts (so that we could all have a frame of reference); I and most others (though Thunder was and probably still is skeptical) strongly believe that pumping at a lower erection does generate an effective inter-cavernous pressure that distends it and is the most likely explanation for pumping success. A Michelin Man penis is not sexy or functional and no one I know would pump if that was the only result - that is true bro science.

Maybe someone was advising you to read more specifically and with thought and insight. If you have done so with this thread alone and still have the opinion you have, then maybe you are not understanding what you have read.

Maybe a crash course in reading comprehension would benefit more than any PE for the time being.

Bottom line is do whatever works for you, but don’t dismiss tried and true methods others have used.

I agree with you lightbringer, I remember a guy from England who joined here and reported that he had pumped for years and had no appreciable results. From my own experience the only thing you gain from pumping is what you observed, baggy skin that re-assimilates after a little time. Clamping on the other hand is really the only way to go for exactly the reason you state it expands the corpus cavernosa from the inside.

Now I have to say here that pumping has been shown to improve circulation for those that are experiencing ED. I would still suggest clamping as a preferable exercise.

But then what do I know I’ve only been on this website for 11 years.

Spent 3 years pumping for an hour a day, never gained a milimiter once stopping pumping, so yer you could say it doesn’t work for me, but it may work for others, or you could just say its a waste of time, and those doing it are just clinging to an unproven[in terms of keepable/real gains] techniques. You only have read a couple of threads on this site to know that thier is a mixture of normal people, people with deep set insecurities and people who just bullshit. Sorry but I call MAJOR bullshit on anyone who claims to of made real permanent gains from pumping alone, its pure mickey mouse bullshit, and if it did work, you would end up with a sack dick. I want too see real unpumped pixs before and after PE, and full review of thier techniques that they have posted up on here, and I bet you the bullshit artist who probably still pump in the vain hope that it works can’t match up to the requirements.

I have posted on many bodybuilding/weightlifting/power-lifting/mma sites, and you always get the bullshitters, who claim this and that, or promote this and that exercise/set or rep range will deliver optimum gains, and really they just guessing or going of bro science.
And they will train the way they advocate.. And they tend top be pretty much on alot of shit.

If pumping works oh so well, why use any other methods??
It gives you fast fake gains that stroke your ego, that’s why you like doing them, just like the guy who cheat curls and extra 50 pound on the bar, convinces himself he strictly curled it, and drops the weight to make a scene.

If they work so well, give yourself a 4 week decon break and see if those “cemented” gains stay, I pretty much doubt they will. When you have people who post on here about how they THINK or FEEL they have developed using whatever method they are talking about, but fail to back it up with empirical measurements [I.e. 0.4 centimetres or inches] because they are so afraid of finding out that the gains might just be in their head and they actually haven’t developed anything as of yet, you can bet your bottom dollar that people on here as in other forums will defend their bogus techniques purely as a defence for their ego,

Who wants to be told yer those 7 hours a week you been spending for 3 years or so on inflating your dick isn’t gonna make it bigger.. No one is going to be happy with that news, so for anyone who is a beginner, be cautious about “advanced” PE practitioners. There will be some with great advice and there will be some with ok advice but it will be mixed with absolute shit!
