Girth routines: how much expansion is enough?

Girth routines: how much expansion is enough?

This is post is directed at all of you PE vets who have been successful with girth gains:

When you do your girth routines, do you measure your post session temporary girth increases? The reason I ask is that I’m wondering whether my sessions are intense enough. I’m almost six weeks into a girth routine that features two 10-minutes sets (1 clamping and 1 pumping at about 5 hg). I plan to add an additional 10-minute set of clamping next week (see “Brianrex’s girth regimen log” for a detailed account of my routine.)

So far, it doesn’t appear to me that I increase in size post-session as much as some of these other guys claim to (e.g., 1/2” or 3/4” etc.). Of course, I really haven’t measured, but I know I expand beyond my normal cold size. Is this enough? I’m almost six weeks in now and I am planning to add that extra 10-minute set next week.

I had assumed that such large increases would primarily be lymph fluid under the skin and that we are primarily looking for increases due to a stretching of the cc, which would be smaller. Back in the day when I was pumping at pressures too high, I would achieve these types of gains, due primarily to lymph fluid. But then I’d also have what were, for me, unacceptable temporary erection problems.

Any thoughts on this? How much temporary expansion is enough to ensure that you’re making girth progress? I’d hate to be wasting my time with all of this just because I’m just shy of some necessary intensity threshhold. Thanks in advance.

I’ve been pumping for over a month, experimenting with all kinds of different session/set durations and pump pressure, and I’m still wondering the same thing you are brian.

For the longest time, literally 8 months, I would focus on getting as big as possible post session… sometimes gaining about 3 quarters an inch girth from Uli’s. I’ve learned that all I did for myself was satisfy my temporary ambitions and create a whole lot of discoloration :(

Now I’m learning that if I over do a workout I actually get a recoil effect, shrinking me back to pre-pe stats! it’s terrible. So I’ve learned moderate pumping and have seen some “real” growth from it, eg: 24 hours after a session, there is still some lingering expansion, but I’m still struggling with gaining and I’m wondering if I need to add another session to my routine.

It’s really hard to get it right, it’s like an art form… too much can be detrimental but, you really have to push the limits or you won’t see hardly any growth.

I’m no expert but I’d have to agree, the extra ten minute set sounds like a good idea.

And for me, I’m thinking of doing two sessions a day now, bad idea? I’m thinking one light session around lunch time and one medium session before bed.

I see we are definitely struggling with some of the same questions. So have you achieved any gains since applying the moderate approach?

Yes actually although I’m only measuring using my fingers for the time being (I make an OK sign around the midshaft, measure how far apart my finger is from my thumb). I’d say I’ve added a tenth of an inch of real growth in the past month of pumping.

Today and yesterday, I added in a second session to my routine, it’s like this now.
Roughly every 12 hours..
2-3 sets of 7-10 minutes pumping

I just feel like waiting the whole 24 hours till my next session allows that bit of growth to fade… although I’m sure if I was more patient, I’d continue to gain, a tenth of an inch at a time but over a longer period.

I’m really quite new to real gaining actually, like I said I was PE’ing foolishly for a long time.. but I’m feelin good so far. Nice talkin with yuh Brian!

hey jimmy-

Can you please expand on “PE’ing foolishly?”

I am somewhat new, maybe a month and a half in. I just want to know what not to do basically.

Brian,

I typically don’t get a 3/4” gain in girth after exercise. It’s usually a 1/4” or less, depending on the intensity and length of the workout. I don’t think your off and I think your working is a good one. I will sometimes use a dollar bill to get a ballpark idea of where my girth is. I am currently doing a week of “shock treatment” to try and break a plateau. I am not sure how it is working, but I needed to try something different as I have been stuck on the same girth measurement for more than 2 months (pretty consistant routine as well). I don’t advocate this, it’s something I needed to try for myself. After my routine, I use the dollar and it will not go completely around my penis, there is a little space, so I know I am getting more expansion, however, only time will tell if this week will help.

Good luck.

You know, I’ve never measured my post-workout girth to check for expansion. Since expansion will probably differ - depending on erection quality, overall wellness etc. - I don’t think it’s a good indicator of gains. It’s just an indicator of whether you had a good workout, if you’re healthy and whether or not you’re mentally focused. (Which, in theory, should mean gains but doesn’t always.) That said, I’ve always tried to get as big as I could during my session but within a limited time range. That way I take one step towards not overtraining by limiting the volume slightly, and I kind of force myself to focus as hard as I can on the task at hand because I have a limited time to spend.

The best idea I ever had for girth was shock routines. Not just adding an extra set of Uli’s or whatever but really going to town for a very limited time. Last time I did this I spent 3 days (a long weekend) and I did a total of 13 PE sessions for girth. In effect I did the same routine about every two and a half hours. After I had rested completely for two days, which was sorely needed, I still had the greatest expansion I’ve ever had. I haven’t measured since (being disciplined and staying away from the ruler until the New Year) but I have a whole new “fat look” to my dick and it feels alot different even if the expansion didn’t last (I assume it has primed me for my current routine though).

For me, the girth magic happens in the third 10 minute set when you reach the 30 minute in total pump time.

You should try doing three 10 minute pump sets at around 5 inhg with massage in between sets. I usually am up 1/2 inch in girth by the end of the 3rd set.

Then, after your third set, put on your clamp and massage for 10-15 minutes.

I think if you massage in between pump sets you will keep the lymph fluid build up to a minimum and find that most of your expansion result stays in the tunica where it belongs.

Remember to always pump up slowly to your target pressure and even pause for a couple of minutes at 4 in hg before reaching your 5 in hg target.

Thanks, fellas. This has been very helpful. I’ll give it all a try with this morning’s routine. I’ll also measure while clamped and report back.

Seems like I’m getting expansion similar to what you guys are getting. Measured 5.75” to 5.8” midshaft today midway through the first 10-minute clamping set. After the pump set, I measured again out of the tube. Measurement the same, maybe slightly larger, which represents a .25” to .3” temporary gain. Next week I move to three sets (2 clamping, and 1 pumping). I’ll measure again at the end of the week.

Naughtyby: PE’ing foolishly….

For many months I focused only on getting maximum Post Session Gains, so I’d sit there and Uli, Uli, Uli for 45 minutes to an hour.. finally getting about 3/4” bigger. This was really hard on my dick, I didn’t add enough heat, not enough rest periods (sometimes just squeezing away none stop) I ended up with a lot of discoloration, some injuries and in reality, pretty much no real gains, it was terrible!

I then started pumping after yet another injury (damaged skin, peeled away, grew back) .. and at first I was working it real moderately and was seeing some real growth! eg: after many hours, there was still some expansion left over from my sessions. But then of course, again I decided to push the limits, just a couple times I spent a full hour in the tube, broken into 15 minute sessions, and higher than optimal vacuum pressure. This gave me incredible post session gains but some bad side effects too, my penis actually recoiled over the long run.. ended up at pre-pe stats again.

So I’ve finally learned moderate pumping and have been able to tack on 1-2 tenths of an inch over the past month of real growth, the key word is “real” ..

I have used the vacuum pump over the years and it never helped me one bit. I don’t claim to be some vacuum pump expert but I don’t think they work very well. I don’t think it puts the pressure where you need it. I use my pump as a warm up device and a hold a pump device but put little to not stock in it giving gains.

I have a hand pump method that will pump up deep inside the tissue.

Get about 75% erection
Grab the base with the OK grip, and push upward like your doing a OK grip dry jelq.
Then with the other hand grab the gland. With the tip of your head in your palm and squeeze.
The pressure should be a two to one ratio with the base grip having twice as much pressure.
I start with very short reps and hard kegels in between. Then once I feel I have pump a sufficient amount of blood I start holding for 10 to 30 seconds in between reps.

With a little practice you will notice that you can apply the pressure where ever you want it. If you squeeze more from the gland it will put more pressure at the base. If you squeeze more at the base it applies more pressure at the top. If you squeeze even it puts pressure mid shaft.

Also note that with the base hand be sure to keep the pressure on the sides and don’t pull on veins.

Another very intense girth exercise I do is the c dry jelq method. With a cock ring at the base (I use a rubberband) and a cable clamp on the gland ( very lite pressure). Done at a low erection level around 60%.
Pumps it up huge.

These exersises I have chosen don’t fatigue your unit. My main notion is pumping in lots of blood without the need for days of rest. I do this twice a day AM and PM. And I have great hard erections little discoloration. And no pain!

Pumping and jelqing at high erection levels makes my unit retreat and shrivel up this can’t be a good thing.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
