In regard to this theory, it would seem to me that if you were gaining length through stretching the ligs (SD & BTC), a girth routine should not affect this at all. Girth might only limit length gains when stretching the tunica. Am I correct on this?

I would caution you, however, that if you’re looking for any sizeable length increases, you won’t get them from ligs alone. So if you’re hammering your tunica with girth moves, then exhaust your lig gains, you might find yourself in a difficult position if you still want more length from the tunica.

Would I be correct in saying that one should aim for their length goal first, and once they get close, begin a dedicated girth routine?

This in theory should allow one to reach their goals faster than a combined length/girth routine. Correct?

That is my opinion. I did lots of jelqs as a newbie and I gained girth quickly. I kept jelqing my way to more than 1” EG, and my length gains grinded to a standstill. I’ve cut out almost all jelqing (except mild restorative jelqs after intense stretching). I’ve lost about 0.2” of EG over the past several months, but I’m still 6-plus midshaft (more at the base). I believe this has hurt my length gains.

A lot of guys here started at 6-7” BPEL, but only 4.5-4.8” (or 5”) EG, and they seem to have made excellent length gains - and, in fact, complain of their girth lagging behind. I’m the opposite. Also, look at RWG here. He has a cock like a brick (something like 7” girth) and it’s been hell for him to gain any length.

I find it amazing that with essentially the same workout, two different people respond in totally different ways.

For instance, my workouts (up until now) consist of a little stretching and lots of jelqing, yet I have gained almost 1.5 ” in length and only about 1/4 ” in girth.

If I had to guess I would say that as I jelq at a downward angle, its probably been easy “newbie” lig gains.

As Ive hit a plateau (for almost a month) Im going to try something totally different. Probably drop the majority of jelqs and severely increase stretching. Not sure yet. Either way, I think I will take a week off, and then start up again.

Different Experience

I am not sure about everyone else, but I have always done jelqing and I think it is the uli squeezes (not sure of the name) and since hanging for my tunica in the past two months I have gained probably .25 - .35” So I am not sure if this can be explained by not working the tunica through girth gaining or because I am only like 5.25” around and would cause more hassle later with more girth.

Just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
