I’m in a similar boat to koolaid11, right now I have a BPEL of 7” and BPFSL of 7.25” yet my erections are never rock hard in fact I have not had a “10” scale erections since I was 17 and I’m almost 23. I guess it’s more like 7 for me. I’m assuming tunica due to numbers above but there are obviously several other things to consider because of the weak erections. I’m just following the simple newbie program right now though to see what happens down the road.

In the past I searched for articles relating to the response of collagen under loads. I found information about stretching it past the elastic range, and into the plactic range. I don’t remember elastin being mentioned. I do remember that micro truama occured in the plastic range, and that past that was the yeild point (the ligament would fail and tear).

Looking back, I see that info as being an explanation of injuries to connective tissue, and I feel like I misled or distracted members here.

I still want to read more about the elastic range and elastin though. I can’t help myself.

Hammerheads amp; Flaccid Bends

Hello, first time posting.

I’ve been doing PE for a little over 2 years and I’ve certainly seen substantial progress. But lately I haven’t seen much progress and so I feel it’s time to change my routine. Anyway, this is a great post and from what I understand I need to work on my tunica more, my bpfsl is a bit less than my bpel. Anyway remek states that hammerheads and flaccid bends are good girth workouts for the tunica. I searched on this site for instructions on how to do hammerheads but couldn’t find anything. Does anyone have a link with instructions. Also, I found an outside source on instructions on how to do flaccid bends, but if someone has a link for that please share. Thanks again for this great post!

I have been clamping and jelqing mostly for 5 years. During the last 2 I have not had much growth if any. Only a little of stretching in which I gained an inch in the first month and could not gain after that so I gave up on length. Anyways, I only get 7 to 8 erection quality at best. The thing is although, I do mostly all smooth muscle exercises, so technically speaking at this point I should have an 11 on the EQ scale. I stay in decent shape, so that is not the problem. I’m not saying I never get good erections, because sometimes I’ll get a great one out of no where, but 95 percent of the time it is weaker erections. I wonder if it is due to fatigue. I usually give a couple days to recover at the end of the week, and then after the 2 days it has shrunk to it’s original girth at 5.9 and the erections are usually a bit better at that point. But during the week until the end of the week, the erections are usually 6.25 at max when clamped, meaning that according to tgc theory, the tunica is expanded enough to get out to 6.25.

Now my main question is, if the tunica can stretch to 6.25 each time I clamp, and I do almost all girth (and thus smooth muscle) exercises, why isn’t my girth a solid 6.25 permanent by now, with erection quality of 10 at all times? I would think that by now, it would be a raging, vessel staining, boner that always pushes the tunica to it’s limit at 6.25.

How long was your biggest break from PE ?

My BPFSL is about 1+ inches longer than my BPEL. I have always had a very hard time gaining in length. Is this theory saying that if I do something like clamping for an extended amount of time (6 months or so) it would make it easier to gain in length then? I have always read that doing a bunch of girth stuff before length would hinder length gains.

Been around for 1 1/2 year and completely missed this thread. Very interesting reading and I wish I would have found it from the start. It perfectly describes how erection works and the important relation between the tunica and smooth muscle. I really did learn something from it and feel I have a much better understand why gains occurs and why there sometimes is problems. A very good article!

Biggest break was couple weeks. Almost all my workouts are girth. Jelq followed by clamp. Yet my erections are never a solid 10, or even 9. Do you guys think I should do more clamp sets per day, or what? If girth should give stronger erections, I’m getting frustrated. I’m trying to get to 10 level erections before beginning my length campaign.

are you taking breaks or do you workout everyday?

After you take a break like a couple of weeks how’s your EQ ?

Usually after a week or two, the erection quality is good if I edge every other day, (but not girth exercises), but if I do nothing, it seems to get weak and become a bit thinner. Then the erection quality usually stays the same or even goes down by 1 level.

But, if my BPFSL is 6” and my BPEL is 6.5” thats a tunica problem?
