Flaccid gains versus erect gains

I wonder if there is a direct correlation between flaccid gains versus erect gains (at least with some time difference)? I have gone from just over 5” flaccid to just over 7” (i.e. 38%). Erect gains has only been 19%. Is it possible that another fraction in erect gains lies dormant? Another way to put the question; you who have experienced gains, have you maintained the same relation between flaccid length and erect length (1:2 or whatever you started with)?

Where have you been? I haven’t seen a post from you in a long time. In my personal experience, I have had an erect gain of 1.75 inches and a flaccid gain of 1 inch. I think that each person is different. I only started out at 5.5 EL so, since your starting length was much more than mine, it could be that you might show better flaccid gains. Also, if you primarily stretch and jelq, It may be that the corpora cavernosa is enlarged, but the tunica is holding everything in. I think that hanging does a much better job of stretching the tunica than jelqing. It would be interesting to hear from other jelqers as to the relationship between their flaccid and erect gains.

I think flaccid length is limited by the length of the soft tissue, whereas erect length is limited by the ligaments. It would make sense that the ligaments are harder to stretch than the soft tissues. Perhaps luvdadus or another MD could shed some light on this.

Good question, priapos, and I am interested especially in your comment about time span.

I’ve gained so far (erect) about 2.4” in length and 0.7 or so in girth. When I started at 6.0 x 5.75 I was having a big day to hang flaccid at 2.5. Except for some encouraging but brief periods after PE exercises or pumping, flaccid size did not change significantly for about 11 months. Then, although I already had the greater percentage of my current erect gains in place, things started kicking in on the flaccid side. Why is that and why then? I was doing the same routines I had done, just alternating them.

I began to average nearly 5” flaccid, then slightly over that. Now I have quite a few days when normal is 6” or 6.25” and I haven’t had any erect gains in many months. I am not complaining about this; I was more interested in flaccid gains to begin with. But what factor caused the flaccid change and why did it not start when I began PE and then work proportionally up as erects gains were cemented?

If I knew the answer to that, I’d do more of whatever is causing this. I’m sure the factor isn’t global warming.

Nice when someone misses you. The reason why I have not written anything for a couple of months is the usual, the fast gains did not continue as in the beginning. I knew this would happen sooner or later but I would not realize it. I got the gains during the first 4-6 weeks and then zero. Nonetheless, I have not stopped during my absence from the board and I have been following the different threads. Now, I have been peing for 5 months and maybe I can see another 0.4” in erect length (closing in on 10”), 0” in girth. My goals are still greedy in many peoples eyes, 12” erect and 7-7.5” girth. I guess it will take a couple of years and I sure hope I have the stamina to endure (I usually quit very rapidly but hopefully not this time).

I would think the opposite, as I believe flaccid gains are related to the tunica while the erect gains are related to the expansion of the corpora cavernosa. Any comments anyone?
