"Flaccid" feeling tougher/denser?

I’ve noticed a change recently, and I’m not sure if it’s a negative PI, a sign of growth, or a sign of bad technique.

Basically, my dick feels firmer, all the time. It never gets fully flaccid, at least not the way it used to. It always has a toughness, like it’s always, always, 20% erect. I thought this was just walking around with a fuller hang, but I noticed it doesn’t get as malleable when I warm up, or when I’m doing my stretches. I don’t get great expansion as consistently as I did with PE in the past.

My routine is different this time around. I’ve been doing the newbie routine, but jelqing at about 80% erect, per the advice of some other threads I found. I’ve definitely seen some gains, but I haven’t seen my flaccid hang get longer, the way I did last year with PE.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is it good, bad, neutral?

I’m only two weeks in to the newbie routine, but experience the same thing.

I wouldn’t say it’s never completely flaccid, but it’s definitely firmer than before.. Also when erect it’s considerably firmer.

I sometimes get that for a week or two if I’ve had a long break from doing any PE.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I have noticed the same thing since I started clamping. I gave pretty successfully countered ir my doing a warm down at the end with Bundled Stretches. I twist both directions two times each and it has made it feel less “stiff” and my flaccid hang has gotten much better.

Bib says this is the tunica being swollen. It makes sense to me and I have had it tons of times, I do not like it though. Might want to back off a little on the volume?

It happens to me when I’m cold then I give a hard pull and it comes back to normal

I get this too. I think the PE makes out dicks more dense due to the increased cell division.

I think TheContinental, you have just laid out another positive PI. Anyone else think so?

I have been on newbie routine for two months. I have had the same experience. Hasn’t bothered me. Would like know if it is a sign of over working.

I suppose the conclusion about it depends a bit on what kind of routine you were doing in the past… It is possible that (under the assumpions of the TGC theory), in the past your tunica was more proportionally stretched than today with respect to the smooth muscle (the inner part). For some reason it seems that now you have more smooth muscle within the CC and thus, the density is higher.

Concerning boardlogon’s, I suppose it is only the normal way of working by means of PE: good PI’s, more density and so on

I too get the ‘dense’ feeling, in particular after manual stretching. I had put this down as a positive PI, but after happening upon a thread about the ‘firm flaccid’ issue I’ve started to worry. I think so long as you don’t see shrinkage, and in my case I don’t, then it should be fine. If it is shrinking as well as feeling tougher then my advice would be to lay off for a bit and see if that helps.

I’d have to say for me, the tougher goes hand in hand with the firm flaccid to follow. I will add that stretching out the groin, hamstrings, and gluteal muscles majorly helps.

I’ve had it. Came with “too” intense stretching. I figured it might have something to do with some valves (perhaps due to inflammation) not functioning 100% and partially blocking the flow-back of blood from the penis. My glans had a darker color than usual when i had that too, which is a sign of low circulation.

I’d say back off a little.
