Experiment: Ten Month Break from P.E.

Some interesting news from the jelqing front:

After achieving some success with p.e., I was curious as to whether the gains were temporary or permanent. So, with a heavy heart and nerves of steel, I went cold turkey. My last measurements before the break were BPEL 7.5”, with max girth of 5.5” (base of penis).

After three months, I began to visually notice some size loss, girth and length. At that time, I measured BPEL 7”, max girth 5.4” (base of penis).

At six months, my confidence began to wane, because the changes were becoming obvious. My BPEL was down to 6.5”, max girth 5.25” (base of penis). Also, glans was losing flare noticeably. However, even more important, my girlfriend started to suspect something was amiss! She would tug harder at my penis, trying to force out extra length, and would also squeeze my penis harder to make it thicker. By the way, she was not aware that I was a practitioner of p.e.

At eight months, I was beginning to panic. My BPEL was closing in on 6”, with the girth stable at 5.25” (base of penis). Glans size was back to pre-p.e. days. I began to make up stories for my g.f., saying I was stressed, had an infection, etc. to avoid sex with her.

Month ten I had had enough. Back to my conservative routine of ten minutes jelq, ten pump (between -4 and -5 Hg), ten jelq.

Well guess what! In only ONE month, I am back to 7.5” BPEL, and 5.5” girth (base of penis). Furthermore, two weeks back into p.e., my g.f. started saying, “Wow, you’re healthy again! Look how big it is!” and “Wow, you’re really hard!”, and just last night “Wow, your penis looks thick!”

So there you have it, fellows. Think it’s all in your head? Perhaps. But after taking this break, I have no doubt in my head that p.e. really works.

That’s disturbing bro but one thing good which I have noticed also penis gains seem to come back fast. It’s just like when I go to the gym after a lay off my muscle size comes back really fast. How did you get your gains I have a feeling that certain types of PE last longer than others.

Wow one month huh, thats not bad, I hope when I target girth again I’ll get my missing 1/2 inch back on my base.

You know if you do the newbie routine again you’d get awesome newbie gains again.

Thanks for the story man! I had to go off PE for about 8 months one time, and had a very similar experience. Now I’m back on again and don’t plan to stop the routine anytime soon. My GF wouldn’t be happy!

I guess I’m lucky, I had quit for over a year and only lost slightly less than a quarter inch in length! I’m back at it inconsistantly and have tacked on what I lost + another quarter inch. If only I had discipline maybe I’d gain girth for once. Currently 7.4bpel 4.9eg.

I’ve gone for four months without PE and only lost a small amount of girth and almost no length. Like .25” max.

I wonder if those losses continue until you get to your pre-PE size or end up evening out somewhere above your pre-PE size. I don’t mind spending 1, 2, even 3 or 4 years to get to my goal, but I don’t really want to PE for the next 60 years of my life. I’m addicted, but not THAT addicted :)

Starting Stats (5/21/06) - BPEL: 6.75 | NBPEL: 5.75 | EG: 5.75 (Mid) 6 (base)

Current Stats (8/21/06) - BPEL: 7.00 | NBPEL: 6 | EG: 6.0 (Mid) 6.375 (base)

My new Goal: To have the volume of a Coke can (21.65625 cubic inches ;) )

You don’t have to butterbean once you get your long term goal you cement the gains then do a light maintenance routine 3 or 4 times a week. Simple jelqing that only last for 10 minutes I believe, but I could be wrong.

Current measure ment 8-2-06 EL- 5.5, EG- 5.25, BPEL-6 7/6, BPFSL-7.25

Short term goal EL- 6.0, EG-5.5

Long term goals EL- 7 to 7.5, EG- 5.5 to 6.0

This makes things even clearer. I will NEVER stop doing PE in my entire life, I will at least do a maintenance routine until the day I DIE! :) .

I think this is similar to the way braces for teeth work, When you stop using them the teeth go back to the way they were, but if you start up again they go back real quick. So like braces maybey you need to PE long enough to make it permanent. Which might be a long time.

Just like body building. If you take time off, you do go backwards. With me and weight lifting its horrible. I took 2 months off this year due to a shoulder injury and lost 8lbs and my max lifts dropped by 15-20lbs or so. I havent taken any time off from PE yet and dont intend to anytime soon.

Tame, your losses of 1,5”are enormous. Frankly I couldn’t really believe what I just read.
Good to hear you’re fully back in shape with little effort. I’d like to ask you a few questions as prove my claim that the loss you experienced highly depends on tissue ‘type’

1) what’s your flaccid?
2) Did your flaccid hang change a lot?
3) How much has your overall flaccid increased due to PE?
4) Would you regard yourself as the “shower” or the “grower” type?
5) How much did your erect to flaccid ratio change (-since starting with PE, before the break, after the break)

Would be interesting to find out.

Flaccid has always been small, and p.e. only produced modest flaccid gain.

Unfortunately for your query, I never have kept track of flaccid stats.

Definitely,however, a grower, not a shower.

It’s already a bit late in my country, so I’ll put this short:

My thesis is that as a grower most of your gains are gains in smooth muscle tissue and elastin tissues. Smooth muscle, as the analogy to BB will decrease if it’s not trained to a certain, maintaining extend.

The gains of the “shower” type mainly constitute tissue increase of the various collagen types as building blocks, so these gains are “cemented”.

I’ll prolly have to do a lot of research to largely elaborate what I just stated, get results from various studies to base my thesis upon, but most probably not within the next 5 weeks. I’m sure the different tissue types do react differently upon stress, so the whole thing could be very useful to find out to which extend one is more like to gain at long time low stress or at short time high stress, as well as the different strategies to use for girth gaining depending on tissue type.
