End-of-workout warm-down

I’ve been following the standard advice of 5 min. of heat (in the shower) after a PE workout. I was wondering if anyone has tried alternating heat with cold? This is a common physio treatment for injuries and is also used naturopathically to improve circulation and clear out toxins. I started doing it this morning. What do you think?

Not instead of, but along with. I.e., cold for a minute, then warm, then cold again, and so on, ending with warm.

You haven’t tried an ADS yet, have you?

I’ll admit warm feels better than cold, but the process isn’t so bad. Doesn’t have to be ice-cold, just cold enough to cause the veins to constrict.
