Just the facts::
1. Ive been jelqing for 1 month
2. current work-out—-5 min warm-up, 5-10 min jelking @80%
erect. 5 min wam-down.
3. The last two weeks I’ve experenced erections of about
80% which do not work for intercourse.
4. Mental state is terrible.


Questions:
1. Is this considered an injury??
2. Is it permanent??
3. Did I possibly damage the valves in the veins which keep
the blood in the penis during erection??
4. PLEASE RESPOND…….THANKS

What is your schedule? You shouldn’t be doing more than 3 days on/ one day off. Are you doing it every day? I hope not.

Sounds to me like overtraining. Give it a few days. Make sure you are doing your PC exercises (which reminds me..)

I don’t think it’s an injury and therefore this isn’t permanent. It just sounds like your penis needs a break.

Give us your schedule, not just your session routine.

Thanks for your reply. I was jelqing 2-3 days with a days rest. There was one day where I did two jelqing sessions—one in the AM and one in the PM.

Oh, something else. Since beginning the texture and feel of my member has changed to a rubbery—sponge=like consistency.
Is that the norm and have others experenced this same thing??

I am currently doing zero PE until things go back to normal. Hopefully everything WILL return to normal.

You may want to have a 12 hour rest after a session before engaging in sex. Your buddie need rest and time to get used to all this.
You may want to consider what your mental state has to do with this.
You don’t state what your erections were like before beginning.
I am only a little younger than you (just a few weeks shy of 44 yo) and my erections were getting weaker - which is the very reason I started jelqing. I did notice worsening in the frist four hours past workout in the first couple of months but now my erections are back to like when I was about 25 and I now need no downtime at all between workout and sex to perform like a champ.
All this being said probably you already had a little ed going before and you are more aware of it now that you have put your dick under a microcope. this breeds anxiety and makes the problem all the worse - a vicious cycle. Do you have high blood pressure, obesity or diabetes?? All these things can make matters in the erection dept worse and I would say work on these along with getting a bigger dick.

There are no such valves. Some urology resident tried to pull this one on this board a few days ago and looking up all the anatomy failed to produce evidence of any such structure. the venules in the penis have no valves, blood is kept in when compression of a certain set of venules occur.

Thanks for your reply. My problem is I haven’t seen any wood necessary for intercourse since Monday. My erections prior to PEing were more than adequate for intercourse.

I do totally agree with you about the vicious cycle of performance
anxiety. I’m sure its having an effect however I should be able to manually bring myself to erection when I’m alone. Manual stimulation gets me about 80-85% erect and no better.

Will this clear-up in time or am I up the proverbial creek??? BTW I’m 46 years old an have always had a satisfying sex life with my wife.

Even though you are not perfoming for your wife or gf when alone there is the question in the back of your mind and one “worries”.

Take a little time off. If your bp is ok you could try some yohimbe. If you have any of the three I mentioned (obesity, high blood pressure, or diabetes) you can get these seen about. Finally after all this realize that you might have an element of organic ed worsened by a psychological component (at our age this is very likely) viagra is a good temporary solution, but I have found that after months of working out I don’t need it any more.

No blood pressure, obesity, or diabetes to worry about. I was also thinking about L arginnine and/or Yohimbe.

I took your advice on the viagra and while I was able to preform tonight the sensation was marked different. The other problem I have with viagra is it keeps me awake. I’m going to try to ween myself off of viagra by using smaller dosages to attempt a return to normal.

Anyone experience the rubber member feeling?? Another way to express it would be a lack of ridgitity…

I’m thinking you have a good plan. I still have some viagra and I still pull it out for special occassions (one where I think my old lady is up for more than 20 min sex). But that is merely insurance and I don’t really need it unless I were going for really marathon sex. I know that my dick feels different on different days I’m not sure that what you describe as “rubbery” is an objective finding or something that you merely percieve in your hyper acute awareness of your dick.

I suffer from performance Anxiety and have alot of the same problems you are talking about from time to time. When I first started Jelqing I was in such fear of hurting my penis that I was always thinking about it. During sexual situations I would be completely onsessing about every little feeling…Is this normal…Is that Normal? My penis always had that rubbery spongy feel to it too….I was always worried…torn between wanting to grow my penis and fearing injury. In time the rubbery feeling subsided for me and as far as ED….90% of it was in my head. I say this beacuse the day’s I was not totally consumed with thinking about my penis I was able to perform very well at night…The day I worried I would have problems getting, keeping and using my errections. This is so frusterating when you are trying to have sex and the only thing you can think about is “Is my Cock Going To Stay Hard”

I use Viagra now with great sucess…Do I physically need it? I doubt it….but mentally it takes most of the performance anxiety away.

I hope this makes some sence
