High erection jelqing is said to be better for girth because there’s less pulling on the ligs and more expansion on the CCs. Lower erection jelqing has more pulling on the ligs and less expansion on the CCs.

That’s the idea anyways.

As far as the tightness of the squeeze goes, that’s up to you, your comfort level, and your PIs.

i dry Jelq with a partial erection. Just hard enough that when i grab the base and start pushing toward the head, it gets really hard as if i had a full erection. I let some blood go trough my ok grip. Enough so i can slowly move my grip up the shaft to the head in about 3 seconds or so. All this while keeping pressure at maximum and constant trough out the stroke. With each jelq the penis gets more spongy and heavy. If it does not feel heavy i try to get more blood into it so i can create enough pressure with each rep. By the time i finish my exercise i feel heavy, warm and tingly or i did not do it right. i think warm ups are very important.

I’ve gain mostly girth gains. I’ve been doing them for over 2 years. I’ve done very very little stretching, almost none, and I’ve gained maybe a 1/8 to a 1/4 in length. Note that I do high erection % dry jelqs though. If you do your jelqs around the 60%-70% range then you will see more length gains than I.

Oh nice. I stretch so that takes care of length. I think I’m ready to start jelqing again. So how did you dry jelq from the base up unless you’re uncut? Did you see a big change in girth?

I was cut loosely so I’m lucky to have enough skin to be able to pull all the way up to the head. I also still have a frenulum intact. Yeah I got girth gains from doing them. All I do is high erection dry jelqs and clamping.

If you were cut tight and don’t have any skin to play with then just try pulling a little skin up from you balls and abdomen to make up for it or start farther up the shaft if that doesn’t work.

Surely low erection jelqing while focusing on pulling more on the ligs is just a lamer version of manual stretching?

Oh, how PE confuses me sometimes.


Time to measure girth soon... previously 4.5", been targeting girth for months!

I do dry jelq’s as a lazy sort of maintenance when I’m not heavily PEing. It’s just easier to whip out a set without getting lube all over your hands. I always mix dry jelq’s in with any manual stretching. The two go great together. It probably helps a lot to be uncut.

This is what I’m wondering. I’ve been focusing on getting in my jelq time over my stretches. So there have been days I did no stretching at all. Would low EQ dry jelqs be sufficient enough to replace my manual stretches? If so this may be what I do instead. Should I hold the base, and then do a dry jelq? Or will a one handed dry jelq be enough for stretching?

I was doing wet jelqs, but about 2 weeks ago I switched to dry. I also felt like I get more out of each stroke dry vs wet. I’m uncut so dry jelqs are not a problem. I do think starting out doing wet jelqs was a good idea. Now that I have the technique down I’m focusing on making sure they each are about 3-4 seconds.

With dry jelqs you don’t stretch the skin of your penis!!

I’ve only ever dry jelqed, and while I can’t say if it has made a big difference, I would assume it has. I’ve done it all through puberty, and am now approaching if not at 9 inches. Dry jelq only, no items, final destination.

I used to do it after clamping to get the blood flowing well again.

I support the glans with my free hand while dry jelqing… occasionally I will squeeze the glans very lightly just at the start of the jelq, but be careful with this and use a lot of heat. Make sure you start the dry jelq by grabbing the centre of your penis and then moving back lightly to the base before you jelq… your hand shouldn’t move from the initial part of skin that you grabbed.
