It has been said that “The most comprehensive research into the effectiveness of jelqing was carried out in the late 1970’s by Dr Brian Richards in the United Kingdom. His research was accepted for publication by the British Journal of Sexual Medicine and showed positive results for 87 percent of the test group. The results from his study showed an increase in penis length of up to 1.4 inches and an increase in penis girth of up to 1 inch.”

The fact is that Dr Brian Richards has published a book on PE! Maybe this guy would accept to post at Thundersplace? Maybe he would be interested in evaluating new PE techniques?

Any decent links on the Chartam methods. It is a mixture of jelqing, pumping and stretching from what I understand.

Trigger……..I completed the Chartam course in 1979.It consisted of warm ups light stretching-jelking-circulation exercises to stimulate blood flow in the groin/genital area and pumping.Time duration pumping started from 5 mins. increasing to 30 mins over a 13 week period.I did a weekly maintenance session for 12 months as recommended in the instruction manual.The general consensus of opinion then was that no more gains could be expected after 13 weeks!!.I was pulling around 7 inches at max. vacuum then—- a gain of approx. 1 inch……..After reading the various pe sites I restarted earlier this year albeit with a better quality pump and much more vigorous/intense routine.At present pulling between 8.25 and 8.50 inches at max. vacuum…..regards dixie[sorry for the congestion; don’t know how to start new paragraph]

Have you ever gone through a prolonged time frame after your initial gains without practicing any PE what so ever? Do believe these gains to be permanent?

Do you pump at 7 to 8” of vacuum for the entire 30 minute period without any breaks?

I did no pe for twenty two years until I restarted earlier this year with my initial gain of 1 inch in length.
Trigger,
I did gain girth but was [and am now] focused on length so stats are vague.Pre Chartam I was below 5.0 inches.I am currently 6.25 inches girth.

I have changed my pumping routine since Chartam.Before I start my daily pe session I cycle outdoors for 20-30mins for circulation; especially the groin/genital area.After intense/vigorous stretching/jelking I pump for 10 mins at moderate vacuum[I have no vac. gauge] then jelk hard for 7 mins.I then re- enter tube and pump at moderate to high vacuum for a further 10 mins finishing with 6 maximum pull/realease-held for 30 secs.I then finish with 5mins hard jelking……….regards dixie

6.25 is a great girth I hope it wont take me 22 years ;-)

I have heard cycling can be actually bad for circulation to the penis because of pressure on the saddle. I think special saddles are out now to stop it.
