Donation

I thought I was clear this morning. I’ve been wanting to make a donation for sometime. When I put XP on puter….I failed to save Password Pal and lost my password to PayPal. I’ve never used paypal…I don’t like it.

Anyway, went to try and recover my password for Paypal and you have to swim English Channel and do decathlon.

This morning I hit “make donation” got “this page cannot be displayed…can”t I make donation from my Visa without ME going through PayPal.

I think this is most informative site and want to be supportive.

Sorry, currently Paypal is the only way to make a donation here.

What page are you not getting to display? When I hit the donate button I get as far as paypal’s first page without a problem.

I know paypal’s system is hardly wonderful but it does work (normally)

I’m sure Paypal might be wonderful if you haven’t lost/forgotten your password….to recover password I have to fax valid ID and utility bill/bank statement or credit card statement (proof of residence). Then wait 10 days.

I thought that I could make a donation here from my Visa to your PayPal and not go through my PayPal. Can that be set up? How many registered members vs. number of contributors? If you could bypass PayPal, perhaps more individuals would contribute.

I’ve never used PayPal…although I did register.

Thats strange I just had to click a button. Did you change email address too?

You can simply set up a new paypal account on your current email address and input your visa details.

Paypal is a simple cheap system which is what we need. If we went for a more advanced system we would be in the position of needing to get donations just to cover the costs of the payment system. Every dollar counts and we have to stretch it as far as it will go.

Try setting up a new account. Once you are set up you will be surprised how simply it works. You should be able to register, and immediately donate :)

Yes it is. That why you’ll need an alternate email address to the one you first registered with. Sorry I didn’t make that very clear.

Not quite….I went to donate this morning and I couldn’t until I get my “unique” PayPal member number….that will appear on my CC statement.

I know you like PayPal but I’m a CC type Guy has always worked for me…and as you can tell, I’m a Rebel at heart….but this Forum is worth the Aggravation….Grrrrrrrr
