Does Sex/Masturbation Hinder Gains

I have been getting better gains than ever and the one thing I’m doing differently is not masturbating. I’m sure it is different for everyone, but I now know my body well enough to know that my PE is much more effective by not masturbating. 1-2 times a week is all I will masturbate, but it’s worth it because of the noticeable growth. Ands like newjaydot, I’m prone to injury as well, I stick only to the newbie routine, otherwise the more intense routines end up damaging my dick and I then can’t PE for 2-4 weeks. Wish I knew this about myself years ago, would be a lot farther ahead today.

I’ve recently changed my tune on this debate…..

I started PE’ing on Dec 11th and noticed a positive change from the get-go but would continue to masturbate whenver I felt like it or had the time and to semi justify it I’d log it down as ‘edging’ and try to make it last as long as I could.

However what I seemed to overlook was the negative PI’s that I would experience after these ‘edging’ sessions.Infact by the end of some of them I would be quite sore and my little buddy would be crying out for mercy! Being a newbie I would ignore these or convince myself that I’d be ok by the morning and it would help progress,etc…etc… Now I know that NOT to be true.

There’s been a couple times where I was unable to get an erection from penis overtraining/exhaustion and when I’ve checked my log,the two occasions of non-erections have been after a bout of heavy masturbation. (what I called edging) It’s not the prolonged masturbation alone that was the issue,it was doing them along with my PE workouts and sometimes doing it as part of my PE workout which, for a newbie, is almost definitely a no-go. Now I’m not saying ‘masturbation is bad’ or ‘edging doesn’t work’ but for me at this stage of my development I benefit from not edging and cutting masturbation down to a minimum.

I know this 100% to be the case for me as in the past week since cutting masturbation down to 3 or 4 times a week my penis is stronger,healthier,bigger,fuller and ready to jump into action at any moment. Infact I measured myself yesterday at 7.625” BPEL and two weeks ago I was back down to about 7.3” bpel after a week or two of heavy masturbation (what I called edging) alongside my PE. So in a very short space of time I’ve not only gone back to my previous best I’ve surpassed it and just from leaving my dick alone and allowing it to grow and heal.

So,for me personally, masturbation and edging are to be kept to an absolute minimum while looking to gain from PE as my penis just can’t handle that amount of continued stress while being expected to grow from jelqs and stretches aswell as carry out it’s normal day to day functions. (including sexual intercourse) I’ve benefitted immensely since cutting it down and will continue to keep it at a minimum for a while and chart my progress/state of penis health/EQ/and energy levels.

Now I’m not anti anything and I’m not against ‘edging’ before you jump in and say I am,it’s just too much of a stressor for me to handle alongside my routine and once I cut it out and kept masturbation to a minimum my PI’s improved DRAMATICALLY!

Bottom line is your dick can only handle so much stress and if you don’t allow it to heal and recuperate between PE sessions and simply continue to batter the poor fella then you’re asking for trouble and not giving it the optimum treatment and conditions necessary for growth and good health.

However bear in mind that ejaculation will increase the concentration of killer cells in the blood, which help speed up the recovery process…

^ ejaculation yes…hence I still ejaculate 3-4 times a week. That can be from sex aswell as masturbation but edging,which focuses on lasting as long a time as possible seems to stress my penis far too much alongside all the other ‘stress’ factors placed on me.

That’s just me personally but others may find this to be the total opposite however, when I start losing size and seeing my dick shrivel up to pre PE size I tend to know there’s something not quite right and what brought me back in a matter of days was cutting out edging and reducing masturbation down to a more manageable level.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Does Sex affect PE result

Sometimes I feel horny after PE. But I worry about if I could have ruined my PE efforts

Does that mean I cannot have sex if I am having PE routine? How often I should have sex then?

PE does not determine the amount of times you should have sex.

But I heard about some of the PE-ers told me that Sex is bad for the gain.are you sure?

Sex will not affect the gains you make unless you manage to tier your dick, otherwise fuck away.

Does that mean less sex is better than the gains?

I would wait a few hours after PE before doing the ol’ in out in out. Not that it would hinder gains, but because your dick will be too fatigued to get maximum erection power. In my experience, too much load blowing from sex or wanking does effect the quality of your PE session, but does not make you lose any gains.


Walk softly and carry a big dick.

Everyone is different. If you are having sex or masturbating three times a day, I think your unit is going to be pretty exhausted without any PE. Add any PE on top of it and your dick is taking a battering. Heavy PE on top of that = high risk of overtraining.

For me, ejaculating fatigues my unit more then even PE does. I aim for 3-4 times a week. If it’s any more then that my EQ will suffer. And having rock hard EQ is a factor in successful PE and gains in my opinion. Maybe it’s different for others.
