DLD Blasters...Un-Real Length Gains

DLD, when I’m doing the dual fulcrum stretch can I do the opposite way it’s done on the picture? For example, pushing downward on the base with one hand and pushing upward behind the glans with the other hand. Will it have the same effect on the ligs? Or is the other way better?

Question to DLD re Blasters

Hi DLD -

Just started the Blasters yesterday. About the reverse Kegels - how much force or pressure should I exert while doing these things? If I really crank on the pull and also the reverse kegel(for the 2nd part of the Blaster) it’s pretty strenous - I get tired after only 10 reps! Any comments? Also, I find that using the BIB Hanger allows me to use your A Stretch which feels great. I’ll post a little later with results.

Hey: Questions

Call me stupid, but I’m having trouble figuring out the difference between DLD blasters and AI stretches…is it merely the length of time on the kegel/reverse kegels? or are AIs merely a manual stretch with no kegeling? I know blasters can be done while hainging, but you can’t AI and hang could you?

Somebody help me out clearing this up….Thanks alot.

With the blaster you’re forcing the PC muscle into submission to stop it resisting any stretch. Though DLD may complain at that description :)

With the JAI you’re pulling for just 2 seconds to avoid the reflex action of the PC muscle to pull back thus hitting the ligs.

So both involve cyclical pulling and releasing of ligs, but the blasters actively involve the PCs by activating them and then simultaneously deactivating them right?

Whereas the Als simply ignore the PC muscle contraction? is that right?

Well the blaster involves a held stretch (which is why it can be done while hanging) using the tensioning and releasing of the PC muscle to encourage greater and greater release so as to hit the ligs more and more.

JAI’s just avoid the whole PC reflex issue by stretching for such a short time that the PC muscle can’t cut in.

Or at least thats my understanding :)

I’m used to stretching in yoga, releasing deeper and deeper into a stretch.

The Blaster uses a flex followed by deep relaxation as the key for that kind of relaxation, in the same way some people can only touch their toes after they’ve stretched and released bobbing up and down a bit.
