All right. It seems to me that you believe that I am out to attack you instead of questioning the safety and effectiveness of DLD bends. I am not a great communicator and if that is what my words suggest, then I apologize.

Although your blasters have not worked for me, I can see the logic in them and believe they may be very effective for others. I hope this statement (which I truly believe) better indicates my level of respect for you.

“You are obviously a highly intelligent individual. You have to realize that when a very likable individual posts about a disability that a “cheerleader effect” is quite possible if not extremely probable. I know that I didn’t want to bring this whole topic up out of fear of aggravating your O.C.D. I suffer from O.C.D. myself and I know what stress can do. At the same time, I don’t want a repeat of joe seven, especially for an exercise that I don’t believe to be effective.

It is not clear to me that this exercise even helped you. Infect, I think it probably contributed to your injury.

You got and are continuing to get constructive feed back from me, or at least that is what I was attempting to do. This has turned into a mess.

This is the point where I really felt like I failed. I think the Blasters may be one of the top five PE achievements. That being said, and I hope you see that I respect you, I stand by what I said. Again, with a very likable person with a disability, the is apt to be a “cheer leader” effect. If people are not as critical of results and propertied gains for whatever reason, PE will move that much slower.

Where is the ambiguity? One thing you might notice is that you are telling me what I am thinking and I am telling you how I interpret what you say. I can’t remember any cases like joe seven where a guy was just pulling on his penis. Also, I don’t think there is much debate if any about weather pulling on ones penis works. I still have not seen the evidence that this exercise works, but I have seen evidence (joe seven) that it may be dangerous.

I don’t like how I worded that last statement and I can see how that being interpreted as offensive. It sounds a little loaded and I suspect that it may have contributed to your impression of the other things I wrote. I am just trying to say, in my clumsy way, that it may not be worth doing if it is particularly dangerous and does not result in gains.

I didn’t want this to go this far. This whole thing is making me feel sick. I just want to hear from guys this has worked for and those it has not worked for and to offer my observation on why I don’t think it works.

Penismith, I am not going to pick apart what you have said. We disagree and that is O.K. DLD Bends and exercises around this have brought me into the 7” girth mark. I have done them for over a year with no injury. Hiding this exercise from the masses would be a crime in more ways then what is initially evident. This thread allows for the discussion of a exercise that could be potentially dangerous if no information was available. The greater amount of information the smaller the risk of someone injuring themselves due to a lack of knowledge. People ask what I do in my workouts, I tell them. Should I let them go off with limited knowledge and hurt themselves? or Should I post this information to be questioned and learned? I have no problem with you disagreeing with me, nor do I feel any anger toward you. I am, however, hurt that you attacked my personal disability and implied that my friends hear are mealy cheerleaders.

DLD Does that make me the head cheerleader again? C’mon you can imagine me in a nice cheerleading outfit? I definitly would have the longest legs of any of the other cheerleaders. Try not to really read to much into other people’s words unless you really have a hard-on for semantics. I only got a “B” in that course, so it wasn’t my favorite to begin with.

I think we all AGREE to be able to disagree with each other. Man that is a real extrapolation from that plant study to a PE exercise. There may be a small relation between the two, but the statement about sacrificing length for stem diameter doesn’t sound too encouraging.

The DLD Bend they do really work, i have not been gaining any girth for the last 4 month, i added the DLD Bend to my squeezes and i did gain .25 inch in 1 WEEK.

Any girth exersise could be contrued as sacrificing length, this is why we also do lengthening exercise. The study also was not out to increase length. If they were perhaps they would have included some Plant Blasters:D

I don’t understand how a girth exercise would sacrifice length. Then again, I don’t understand the bio-mechanics/principles of girth gains as well as I should. Hopefully DLD’s upcoming post that deals with girth will help me with that.

DLD, can you please clarify this a little? The reason I ask is that I am currently on (what I think to be) a girth only program. However, I do not want to lose my length gains either. Thanks!

I personally have a hard time doing dld bends with only using ok grips. I find that using a tourniquet around the base is the most effective way to do bends. 90% erection is also the most effective. When I first about bends I was very confused about how they would effect girth. Now I see the beauty of them. For me I feel a stretch along the corpora that is far superior to anything. It’s almost like you isolate one side at a time. I also have noticed my n-curve penis starting to straighten a bit from bending upwards. It’s still curved, but not nearly as much as before.
