Different BPEL while standing compared to sitting?

Different BPEL while standing compared to sitting?

Anyone else get a lower BPEL while measuring when standing, compared to sitting down?

I do, I find that quite strange indeed.

Yes. Sitting down, people generally tend to get a longer BPEL. For me it’s a difference of about 0.25”.

It’s true. I would have guessed the opposite but.

Haven`t noticed. I did notice a shocking 6 7/8” semi-erect measurement the other day after clamping and I was standing when I did the measurement. the greatest erect measurement I`ve ever had was 6 1/2”, but I`m always sitting.

I do stretch out to 7 1/2” in the stretcher, so maybe the clamping pushed the envelope somehow.

What stretcher do you use a-unit old pal?

Yes I have the exact same difference….an yeah gprent lol, one of life’s mysteries indeed.

I’ve noticed that to. I find it much easier to keep an erection while sitting so I took my first pics sitting. I noticed later that I seemed to loose some length when standing. Since in my pics thread, I posted pics taken while sitting, I’m going to have to take all future pics sitting to be consistent.

I have also noticed my NBPEL and BPEL is longer when I’m sitting down and leaning back. This is why I do my progress measurements while standing. When standing you can’t cheat and push the ruler above the fatpad into the lower abdomen area for a false sense of length. When standing the ruler either touches the fat pad for a true NBPEL measurement or pushes into the fat pad until it touches your bone for a true BPEL measurement right on top of your penis. To me standing when measuring is a more true measurement without fooling one’s self.

The angle of your hips can make a big difference. Thrust your dick forward for your max measurement. This is important for tracking progress accurately, even if it’s not a realistic measurement for figuring out how you stack up compared to the various size surveys.
