Hello all,

Length was always my first priority when I got started with PE. Sadly, I don’t have accurate measurements, but I think I’m a good inch longer since I started and I know I can gain more length if I just apply myself. I’ve been marginally longer than I am now in the past.

Based on getting good expansion on early girth work, I always thought gaining girth should be easy when I focused on that, but it seems like I’m stuck at a resistance level. Currently, I’m only jelqing. I’ve tried clamping, but it killed my EQ. I could possibly try it again starting really low and working myself up to higher levels. I’ve done long periods of pumping as well, with not much to show for it. Maybe I need more volume? Or more force during the session?

Quite frankly, I suspect that the core of my problem is my EQ issues which is preventing me from getting consistently good expansion and that is the real reason for my current lack of gains in the girth department. During periods of good EQ, I get great expansion when jelqing, so maybe it’s not the program or exercise that’s the real problem. There was a stretch of days a few months back where I had massive expansion during jelqing and I had a chubby semi-erection that would get frequently hard throughout the whole day. I remember thinking if this persisted, gaining in girth should be easy. Sadly, it went away. Not sure if it’s normal to even be at that level.

Anyone been in a similar situation and had a breakthrough in the girth department?

If I could gain only 0,25”, I would feel adequate. I would still want more, but would not be in a rush to get it. Currently just below 4,8 ” EG midshaft. 5,0” at the base.

I have had girth gain from hanging this summer.

I don’t keep tabs on girth as I’m a length guy, but I probably got a quarter inch or so.

And I love clamping too but it kills my EQ dead after a couple of sessions.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Citrulline + AAKG (natural) or ciallis for the EQ.

Lots of heat - makes all the difference!

Pump for 5 minutes, jelq for 5 minutes, pump at higher pressure for 5 minutes, then pump for 30 minutes at lower pressure.

Those would be my recommendations. :)


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

All over the shaft or base girth? Gaining base girth seems to be common with hanging.

I noticed my penis becoming more plump when hanging, but it disappeared gradually after I quit hanging. Was my penis simply swollen because of the constriction or was the girth not cemented?

Base girth is indeed connected to hanging.

Not sure on the plumpness, I experience a heavier flacid hang for one but the base girth should be permanent (depending on how long you’ve hung).

I should add that I never measured my girth the last time I hung, but since it was noticeable, I suppose it was real. I lost some of my length gains as well, so maybe the girth was real as well?

I hung at lower angles, BTC and SD, many years back and I believe that gave me permanent base girth.

Maybe hanging will be the solution for me, although I suspect the real key is to fix my EQ issues. If only I knew how.

About 5 or 6 weeks if I recall.

Granted, I’ve no issues with EQ, but moderate hanging blew my EQ even higher (If possible).

Although I must admit that my (further) increase in EQ may be due to change in lifestyle.

Cool. In fact, I had a significant increase in EQ myself last time I resumed hanging. What lifestyle changes if I may ask?

- Improved my diet to something similar to Paleo.
- Started distance running and weightlifting (Working to starting Olympic lifting)
- Sufficient sleep, which means at least 7.5 hours for me.

Above all I’ve learned to not worry about obstacles I’m dealing with. Helped me deal with depression that’s been with me for years and despite paying debt for 2 people and being on the road the majority of the day I feel good.

I found myself to be a fast girth gainer, but also that if I didn’t do exercises typically associated with “girth” that my length wasn’t working.

I am using an adapted Mem’s routine (I posted on his thread about it) and it’s been great.

I *think* that combining the workout of the jelq/440 combo sets with two a day stretching is a two pronged attack on the complicated structure of the Unit.

When I started PE a few years back, and was focusing on midshaft to tip girth, I had tried those side blasters and slinky’s and stuff, and it didn’t work (for me) as well as what mem’s routine has done in my most recent restart.

Before trying Mem’s routine, I was straight stretching for 3 hrs a day (sometimes twice a day), 4 days a week was not working very well at all. 1hr stretching a different way (inverted V-stretch) in the evening and a twenty minute version of mem’s routine in the morning shower has given me consistent real gains for the last two months.. Mind-bending actually.

I guess what I’m saying is try a few routines for a week or so, but don’t try to focus on doing one thing. Stretching helps the girth, girthing helps the stretch. (For me anyway)

Those are great gains, Mike! I took a look at your post at Memento’s thread. Thanks for the input.

I will be doing something similar from now on, adding hanging to my jelqing/stretching routine.

I seem to recall some old threads where guys reported how they surpassed some “resistance” point and suddenly started gaining girth again, but I can’t seem to find them. I still suspect that my EQ issues may be my real problem though.

Orange bends worked for me when I was struggling with jelqing. Then super intense clamping worked.

Care to share some of your routine?

The problem for me with even only moderate intensity clamping is that I get insane expansion the first day or two, even get great wood and am sure I’m set for some great gains, but then my EQ crashes. I am however considering trying easing back into it, starting with 1 minute sets in combination with jelqing.
