Did anyone here struggle with girth gains, but experienced a breakthrough?

Girth work is definitely the most demanding on your penis. Clamping is great for this but overdo it and you will soon know all about it. The other exercise which seems to aid girth development is (excuse me for a sec, I’ve forgotten their proper names)
The jelqs where you pull your penis up towards your chest in between your 2nd and 3rd finger?

Are they Ulis?

They work an absolute treat and set you up very well for future, more demanding PE exercises.


Starting stats:- Dec11th2008 7.2"bpelx6" meg.Mar23rd09 8.375"bpel x 6.125"meg. Mar10 8.4" bpelx6.125" meg.

Goal: 8"nbpel x 7" A one eyed monster by any standard :)

I have recently changed my approach to girth.

I now limit myself to no more than 3 sessions a week, 30 minutes at a time not including the heating before and after.


Then, 6.1 x 4.5 Now, 7.25 x 5.25

Thought I would check back in because this thread is still going. Since I posted my routine I’ve changed some thing up and have continued making progress. This is more of what I learned for girth.

1. You MUST switch it up. Not every week or month, but every work out. Never do the same exercises in the same way or in back to back days. For example, one day my workout will consist of jelqs ( warmup and in between sets) orange bends horse 440s and cool down jelqs. Next workout would be jelqs bends and reverse jelqs or slinkys. But always switching it up. Just like muscle confusion in bodybuilding.

2. To continue the theme of switching it up, I water pump with the hydromax x30 once or twice a week. Doing jelqs and orange bends before I go in and only leave it on for like 10 minutes. Just another way to confuse the dick.

3. I minimally stretch. Barely enough to feel a pull. Barely.

4. Leave your dick alone when you’re not exercising, pissing, masturbating or fucking. This will only lead to obsessing and hindrance in flaccid size and desensitization.

5. Know your limits, then push over them a little every time. More bodybuilding analogies but Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t get huge lifting 10 pounds 1000 times a day.

These little lessons have worked for me. I’m starting to creep past 5.5 to the 6 inch mark. Progress is slow on the ruler, but it is more visible than measurable. My wife will randomly peek in the shower or pull my shorts down to see my dick. The look in her face when she sees it and you know she’s only thinking about shoving that thing in is reason enough to keep going.

I’m always lurking here. I’ll post back if this thread keeps going. There is so much more wisdom in some of the long time members. Take some hints from the old posts.

Pump for 5 minutes, jelq for 5 minutes, pump at higher pressure for 5 minutes, then pump for 30 minutes at lower pressure.

Those would be my recommendations. :)

Would you still recommend this ? Did the gains continue to add up over time? What pressure did you use?

During periods of good EQ, I get great expansion when jelqing, so maybe it’s not the program or exercise that’s the real problem. There was a stretch of days a few months back where I had massive expansion during jelqing and I had a chubby semi-erection that would get frequently hard throughout the whole day. I remember thinking if this persisted, gaining in girth should be easy. Sadly, it went away. Not sure if it’s normal to even be at that level.

Anyone been in a similar situation and had a breakthrough in the girth department?

If I could gain only 0,25”, I would feel adequate. I would still want more, but would not be in a rush to get it. Currently just below 4,8 ” EG midshaft. 5,0” at the base.

If you’re losing EQ after a clamping session it’s because it’s working… Same with hanging. If you have a hard workout with lets say your chest, you lose strength the following day/days while the muscle rebuilds and recovers. It’s the same thing happening to your penis. If you don’t want to lose your EQ dont push yourself so far, meaning don’t clamp as hard or as long at first. But for me a lower EQ is just plain natural when doing a lot of exercises. To the point my wife even knows not to bother trying to have sex if I tell her I PE’ed hard on that day.

Light jelqing after the set and on the next day or days will help your EQ come back up. And eventually from all the expansion and now blood vessels and tissue repairs you’ll start seeing your tailors tape move!

I would still recommend that, and although I included the EQ enhancers because the OP considered that his EQ problems were a large part of what was holding back his girth gains, even if you don’t have the OPs EQ problems the Cialis can still be useful for slightly increased flaccid size; it’s nice to have.

My personal routine is really maintenance now and varies according to how my penis feels that day, so times, vac levels, even choice of exercises is never constant enough to put numbers on. That would have been a fairly typical way for me to pump a few years back, and was good for gains.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

OK thanks. Did you get gains regularly from this pumping routine after the first 5 weeks? I know you often mention deconditioning break as a useful tool.

That general approach - lots of heat followed by exercise to loosen up the tissues, followed by an extended time of slightly lower intensity (just short of tissue ‘lock-up’) was foundational to my pumping approach. I would vary it and sometimes do longer periods of more intense pumping or more stretching or jelqing before the longer lower intensity work. Mixing it up keeps changing the stress on the tissues so they have to adapt. I take at least a week off every 6 weeks. Now if life gets in the way (and I’m really retired from PE) I may take a couple of months or more off without doing anything. I always find my penis can’t take much stress after a long lay-off/decon break. It definitely sets the tissues up for fresh adaptation.

Try clamping but very short duration

I do ULIs for 10 second holds and am gaining girth quickly my brother

I also do erect jelqs but it is very dangerous so make sure to be careful

length gains are easy for me but girth is just as difficult .


Started:BPEL=5.0" x MEG=4.6 .(actually I was between 4.9 and 5 so I went with 5)

Now:BPEL= 6.3 x MEG=4.8 .. :) Final goal = 7.0 BPEL x 5.2 MEG.

Ok, did heat make a big difference when used during the “extended time of slightly lower intensity” ? It sounds like heat could help the tissues loosen, expand more and then the lower intensity work, with or without heat, would keep things expanded.

On the occasions I kept the heat on from an IR lamp for most of the extended time, it certainly felt like it helped, but usually I just did the heating, then the more intense work, then re heated before going back in the cylinder, but didn’t keep the heat on for the whole time.

In an ideal world, heating all the time would be great, but I’m a fan of keeping things as simple as possible because the harder I make things to do, the more likely I am to skip a session, so often I’d just heat at the start of a session. Skipping heat altogether would definitely be counter-productive though.
