Deconditioning (decon) Breaks: How and Why?

You definitely need more than a month off, with that level of work you’ve done over 4 years. Take at least 2 months and just rest.

Thanks! That’s what I’ll do.

Should I re-start the hanging 101 schedule from around 5 lbs, 2 sets a day and progress gradually? Probably doing something like 6 weeks on and 1 week off?

This should wrap up my questions for a couple months haha.

What is the consensus with decon breaks and masturbation? Last decon break i took lasted like 1 and a half months but i was heavily addicted to PMO and would usually spend hours every night jerking it which i imagine jeopardized the recovery. If i were to take another break would 30min to an hour every night still be too much?

Your personal sexual fitness level is unknown. So only you can decide how much is too much. The main issue with PMO is mental and related to bad habits that psychologically effect EQ and ability to orgasm so PMO is likely a poor choice period.

Masturbation needs to be divorced from porn for the best chance of a healthy habit and outcome. These are things you ultimately decide.

I’ve started PE in mid August. Newbie routine, after about 4 months I gained almost a half inch in girth and was ecstatic! After 6 months, I started a clamping routine, along with more stretching and a more aggressive jelling routine. I really love clamping because of feeling the extra girth. But I have not seen any gain since the original gain.

Long story short, 7 weeks ago I was sort of forced into Decon, because my fiancé he’s been off work. But I continued clamping when I could sometimes 3, ten minute sessions a day. But then I learned on Thunders, that a Decon means no PE at all.

So I’m taking another month off. My question is when I start back, do you recommend starting with Newbie routine? And do you recommend another 6 months after, to start clamping again? Sorry so long, Thanks!

Start back light. Newbie Routine on a 2-1 schedule at half the work to get a feel for where you are. Clamping needs some months off if you got that high in the reps. I would probably take 2 months to fully decon.

Nothing outside of normal masturbation is my recommendation. Simpler that way.

After 2 months off I will start back slow with the newbie routine and gradually increase the work outs. But how long till I can start clamping again?

Wait and see what happens when you get back before planning that far ahead.

TG, this theory of decon could be applied in some way to the newbie in PE.
Ex: After 6 weeks 1 rest.

I plan on taking a week off soon. What do you think is best for those starting out?

It is good. I always recommend 6 weeks on and 1 week off or 6 and 2 weeks off. A lot use that in the Newbie Routine.

Hey guys im at 35 days of decon so 5 weeks in so far. Had 5 months of PE prior to decon. I want to start up my new routine today this is what im thinking…

Morning
-Warmup
-Some basics stretches
-3 sets of jai stretches
-5 min A stretch
-4 hours of extender

Evening
Warmup
- 5 min bundled stretch
-10 min jelqing

Could you guys give some insight if you feel this would be sufficent or too much?

Oh and 1 on 1 off for the first 2-4 weeks
