I used to know a young gal who could bounce into a full split with no problem. She could also sit back & pull her legs behind her ears (I could start several threads about this wild young freak)…..anyway, she used to stretch daily, and told me that ligaments needed worked frequently.
I’m guessing that the suspensory ligament is probably no different. She used to stretch frequently, intensely & briefly.
So, I”m thinking of doing my full PE workout 3-5 days per week, but stretching everyday…..it worked for her.
