Correct BPEL measurement?

The ruler has to be horizontal IMO. I can’t imagine a guy even slightly obese taking a BPEL measurement with the ruler vertical. You are going to have fake gains at any small decrease of bodyweight if the ruler is vertical to the body.

In picture 1 - if I do it that way and try to “cheat” by digging in under the pubic bone, it doesn’t work because the outward pull of the stretch is keeping the skin tighter, so it’s a shorter measurement that way for me if that makes any sense. So I just measure like in picture 1 but I put the ruler higher up where it is against the outermost part of the PB.

Before 5.5" x 4.1" ///////// Now 7.4" x 4.9"

I’ve got a difference of 0.2 inch between vertical < horizontal. Significant.

I tilt the ruler at a 45 degree angle.

The solution is to measure NBP. BPEL is a copout, let’s face it. No guy can penetrate all the inches of a BPEL measurement, and if you’re a fat fucker lose some weight. You don’t deserve a big dick if you’re too keen on the chocolate gateau.

I still prefer BPEL because NBP fluctuates with weight gaining/losing I’m currently putting on 20 lbs I’ll put on some fat along the way and my NBP will change does that mean my dick shrinked ?
Later I will cut the fat and will that make my dick bigger ?

So for measurig progress and gains BPEL is better.

Start: 8 BPEL- 7.5 NBPEL - 5.5 midEG

Current: 8.6 BPEL - 8 NBPEL - 5.8 midEG

I wish You all kinds of gains!

MrJacobo, if a guy is fat at the outset, first he should get down to his ideal weight, since losing weight is easier than gaining dick. Then when he’s at his ideal weight he can keep it there while he’s adding dick. You would need to be gaining or losing a lot of weight for your fat pad to show much difference. If I gain or lose 7kg I don’t see much difference in fat pad, less than 1/4 inch.

I agree with you about the weight thing. I’m not proud of this but when I meet fat people I have negative attitude towards them if they can’t handle managing their own weight then what can they handle? They come off to me as irresponsible and undisciplined. I still prefer BPEL measuring 1/4” is a substantial amount to gain/lose. If asked about dick length I will give NBP measurement but for measuring progress I’ll use BPEL.

As for the topic I have the same measurements vertical and flat but flat is easier and more practical so i’ll stick with it.

I use a fabric tape not a ruler, but I guess I’m closer to the other pic. I keep track of the delta between my BPEL and NBPEL, BPFL and NBPFL. It shouldn’t vary that much from measurement to measurement or from sample period to sample period (now that my weight is consistent). I therefore get around any issues from over or under compression.

Start (Oct 2010) NBPEL: 5, BPEL: 5.875 inches, BASE GIRTH: 5.25 inches, MID GIRTH: 5

(November 2013) NBPEL: 5.875, BPEL: 6.625 inches, BASE GIRTH: 5.625 inches, MID GIRTH: 5

Goal NBPEL(7-7.5)xMEG(5.5-6) (journal)

I gues how you measure depends on what you want to measure. I measure with the ruler horizontally and BP as this gets me the most consistent results. However, I have the impression that the only gains I have realised (probably from stretching the ligs) come from moving the starting point backwards. In other words: my ability to tuck the ruler slightly under the pubic bone. This way of measuring tells me I gained a bit from lig stretching. However, when I measure with the ruler vertically, I haven’t gained anything so far (in the sense of actual length).

I have to use a fabric tape, as I have a fair upward curve and a straight ruler won’t work.. I measure horizontal because that’s how the tape bends.
