I decided two months ago to have a conditional break as I had none since I started PE more than 2 years ago. So, now it was time to measure again and that was quite a disappointment. I have lost 0.63” in length (from 7.32” to 6.69”) and 0.23” in girth (5,24” to 4,92”). Is the naked truth that we need to keep doing PE forever to not lose gains?

(Or is my shrinked penis a result of that we have -20 for weeks over here ;) )

Still, I made 0.8” length gains and 0.42” girth gains since the start so it is not terrible.

If anyone wonders about my strange decimals in inches, it is because we use centimeter over here and then I just recalculate. 4.92” = 12.5 cm, 6.69” = 17.0 cm etc.

So, what’s your experience with long breaks? Do you lose in size as I did?

The short answer is, it seems to vary from individual to individual. Some have reported gains during time off.

The idea of doing a maintenance routine, less strenuous than the routine that got you your growth, seems to be reasonably well accepted.


For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

We could assume that the maintenance routine is less than a normal routine, right?.

What probably happened was that you measured shortly before taking a break and some of those gains were uncemented. I will relate a personal experience below.

I am currently not working on girth at all. I would like to gain at least half an inch in the length department before I resume girth work again. Shortly before I stopped work on girth, I was experimenting with ulis, a fairly intense girth exercise. More intense than the jelq. After a few days of ulis, I measured my girth on a day when I had not yet done any PE for that day. My girth was slightly above my current measurement which is 5.5 inches. I have since lost that gain but my 5.5 girth has held steady. at any given moment, some of your size is going to be a result of recent PE activities and will disappear if you stop PE. It takes time to cement gains.

I hope that this helps and that the way I worded it makes sense. The good news is that you should be able to easily gain back what you had before since you already gained it once.

I lost quite a bit on my break and still haven’t fully gained the lost size back.

I’d advise against a break longer than a fortnight based on my experience on a 6 month break.

avantasia: The maintenance routine should be less time consuming/heavy than a routine for growth. Comparingly, I need to use 1 hour of PE for a full clamp session while a maintenance routine would probably be to jelq with a 75% erect in the shower 5 minutes per day. Perhaps combined with a few minutes stretching.

quickbeam: The gains should probably be easy to re-gain and now that I know how my penis react on a longer break, I will probably not do it again.
