Iam posting this here because clamping is not for any beginners.
I am excited to share with you guys a technique I have picked up that has truly benefited my clamp routine, to the point that I feel I get better expansion without needing to clamp harder, I seem to have more clamp endurance (can clamp more without EQ drop, if anything EQ rise), and it feels more sensational.
It is a very basic technique, nothing fancy here, and many of you may already do this, but for me it was a breakthrough.
So with your other hand (the one you don’t use to edge with) you lightly hold and press the clamp into/towards your fat pad. Not hard at all, just barely. I started doing this because I noticed sometimes with all the coconut oil I use if I wasn’t clamped really hard (I don’t do that) sometimes the clamp wouldn’t seem to be pinched down at the base of my unit deep enough or as much as I would have liked it to be. So I would lightly hold or press the clamp in place.
This helps tremendously with pressure/expansion, and seems to fill my cock better.
I can’t stress this enough, BE CAREFUL. Do not do this hard, it should be a very light press or even just holding it in place. There has been a few times where my session got intense and I noticed I got excited and was pressing a little too hard and I have felt a slight soreness around the base of my cock (maybe the ligs). Did not ever seem to affect EQ or pain in my unit though. Just a very very slight dull ache from clearly pressing a bit too hard.
Let me know what you guys think. My unit has been on houstonwood mode with a fine mix of drilla added to it. Don’t want to speak to soon but I’m pretty darn sure iam in a gain mode right now. Haven’t measured in months. Things feel and look great.
