The Velcro fasteners are convenient, but not really necessary; the clamp will hold it on. You may not always be able to cut the wrap so the Velcro is intact on all strips you cut, but you can usually get at least one strip with some of the fastener part left on it. You only need a tiny bit of the Velcro to hold the wrap till you get the clamp around it. Cut the tooth part of the Velcro so it does not come in contact with the skin. (A triangular cut) This can be very uncomfortable once under the grip of the clamp.

I actually felt the same way, I haven’t gotten neoprene yet, but I just got an old stained hand towel and cut them into strips. I wrap with one of those, then wrap the athletic tape around it, kind’ve like what I saw saiyan22 doing while he uses his snake-hangar, but still small enough to fit in the clamp. I will still pick up a neoprene wrap to compare, but this seems to be working quite well.

Ok, I found a neoprene knee wrap (Futuro brand) and cut off two strips. It definitely feels different from clamping the way I was before. The best part is that if you cut it so that it tapers down in the middle part, when you’re done wrapping it around your unit, the sides of the velcro can still stick and hold it in place!

Just spent all day reading this thread. Just amazing all I learned today. I’ll start clamping as soon as I find the medium sized clamp on Home Depot. (not in stock) when I checked two days ago.

Dude, If you read the whole thread you must need glasses by now. I was just thinking, most authors get about three dollars a copy for their novels once the book has earned out. This thread has had about 166,399 views. If I put as much time into writing a paperback novel as I have spent on this thread and it got as many views I’d be looking at near 500 grand in royalties on top of the author’s advance.

I wonder if there are 166 thousand men out there who would be interested in a book on Clamping.

Guys, I just started clamping last week. I do three days on, one day off on top of the newbie routine. Just one eight minute set for now, but might ramp up to 10 minutes and then muliple sets later after I carefully watch the unit.

I know this is hard to quantify, but how quick are the gains? When can I see that quarter inch girth gain and believe it is not a measuing error? I’m just looking for an educated guess on an average.

Keep in mind I’ve already been through the newbie gains. I’ve been doing the newbie routing for 10 months and am up 1/4 inch girth and 1/2 inch BPEL.

I can’t speak for everyones average, but I get 1/8 a month.

Gains vary per person. For some, clamping doesn’t even work. For you, it seems it probably will Snuffy. Remember it will probably hinder length gains though. Be careful.

Is it possible to get ‘too’ hard to clamp? I feel like on a regular basis my erections are literally just too solid for the clamp to compress them anymore and give any affect. Usually I masturbate and afterward I can clamp normally again, but is this possible or am I maybe setting up the clamp wrong somehow?

It seems to me that clamping is mostly enlarging my cs. Is there a way to get wider? Did a search to no avail. An answer or link would be greatly appreciated, thanks .

what about hand clamping instead? I use to clam my base with an ok grip when fully hard and hold the grip for about 1 minute..and do some sets of this exercise..what do you think about it? is it considered clamping as well?
