Refer to Drilla’s thread, he gained 0.6” with no discoloration. I do not think he could have gained 1.5 inches without discoloration, on the other hand.

I got a couple questions, they may have been answered before but I couldn’t find. I’ve been clamping properly for about 3 weeks and had no problems yet but it took me a while to work out how to ‘do it’ with my dick. Questions:

1. Is clamping behind the balls more dangerous/advanced, any precautions needed?

2. I use quite a strange wrap, actually a loop/ring of silicon covered with a bunch of layers of medical bandage. When I clamp I usually arch my back and lean forward with the top half of my body which seems to increase the pressure and expansion of my penis. I’ve noticed once or twice that if I do this too much the silicon ring and therefore clamp actually about maybe half an inch up the shaft, causing an even greater expansion my the rest of my shaft. Almost like using the clamp to dry jelq but just pausing at .5”. Is it okay to do this as a practise? I measured underneath the ring and amazingly I have huge expansion before the clamp as well.

3. Would it be best to hang before or after a clamp set?

Clamping behind the balls is more dangerous because of the pressure put on vessels that go to testicles. I’d never do it, personally.

Also, I suppose hanging should be done before clamping just like stretching is done before jelqing, but I have a feeling those two exercises are too intense to be done together in one session. You should probably wait for reply from someone more experienced. :)

Discoloration is a direct effect of blood vessel “leakage” on a micro level. The red blood cells start creeping out of the capillaries and get trapped outside of the blood vessels in the tissues. The red blood cells die, break down and leave their pigment, hemosiderin, which is the iron that helps transport oxygen.

This hemosiderin builds up in the tissues, permanently darkening it. This “creeping” out from the capillaries occurs when the blood pressure inside the capillaries EXCEEDS the capacity of the walls of the capillaries to prevent it. In other words, the pressure inside the capillaries stretches the walls enough that red blood cells start getting pushed out of them.

For each guy, this level is slightly different. That’s just genetics. However, high enough pressure, long enough can cause it in anyone.

How do you prevent it? One way is to keep the pressures low enough AND the time short enough to not allow it to happen.

The second method is to compress the surface of the skin, like with a wrap. This gives counter force to compress the capillaries, to work in opposition to the expansive force of the internal blood pressure. The trick is to compress the skin enough to protect the blood vessels, and not so much as to prevent expansion of the tunica. This isn’t difficult because the pressure needed to protect the capillaries is far less than the force needed to expand the tunica.

Drilla avoided discoloration because he used moderate clamping pressures which was below the leakage point for his capillaries. The problem comes in when your tunica needs more pressure and time than your capillaries can sustain. In the past you either accept the discoloration or you stop. Now, I believe with the wrap method you can do both.

I just started clamping today. My girth increased by about .6 cm over normal full erection with the clamp on, so I can see how this could lead to gains with repetition. I wonder how consistent i will need to be in order to achieve gains from this. I’m thinking 1 day on/ 2 off to start, then moving up to 1 day on/ 1 day off in a few weeks. Three sets of 8 minutes to start, then move up to 4 sets per session in a couple weeks.

Tweakster: I never had much luck with clamping around the balls. I’ve never been able to keep all that loose scrotal skin out of the jaws of the clamp. Besides, I don’t really see the point. You can not enlarge testicles.

As far as hanging, best to clamp after. Same with pumping. Do girthwork after hanging, aways. Your dick is much more stretchable before you plump it up. Besides, If I clamp or pump first, I can’t get my dick into the hangers.

Hi, how many clamping sets per day are safe??
I have been trying to do around 6 * 12mins, with 10 min break in between, but wonder if more would help?? Is this enough to see good gains?

Is it better to break sets up, like 3*12 in morning 3*12 later?

Wow! 6x12 minutes is a lot and I doubt that more repeats or longer sessions would give you better gains. Most people do 3x10 minutes, 2 days on, 1 day off or 5 days on and 2 off. 10 minutes in between the sets are the shortest break you should do. I would suggest longer to make sure you do not catch permanent discolouration or other possible problems.

I’d been doing 3x12 5 times a week. I’ve had a massive weekend and neglected my PE for 5 days or so. I’ve had so much morning wood I could hardly get back to sleep. Like 1 hour long or more erections. Which is pretty cool lol I guess I must have been over doing it.


This is good information. I have just started to clamp and my EG is about 4.5+/- and I find the medium clamp is a bit too large. I need to use a 3/4” neoprene ring over a silicone sleeve in order to get enough pressure to be effective. I will order the .449 - .511 clamp and post the results after I try it.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I have just started clamping. I have ED so I have been using a cock ring or constricting band around my balls and shaft before and during sex (up to 20 minutes at a time) for more than 10 years. I started PE (jelquing and manual stretching) about 4 months ago and pumping about 3 months ago. Do any of the experienced clampers see any problem in adding clamping to the mix?

BTW, the use of the constricting band around my balls and shaft has increased the size of my scrotum (my balls are the same size). Since I constrict my whole package on a regular basis, I”m not sure the increase is temporary or permanent.

Clamping has really increased my flaccid hang. Before I started clamping I was a consistent 3” flaccid and now I am 4.5”. Guess that makes me a shower instead of a grower.
