As far as I know, a cable clamp is as close as you can get to a releasable cable tie. Most cable ties I see are bitches to undo. Bear in mind you want to make quick release a high priority when it comes to constricting your unit.

The other factor you have to take into account is that regular cable ties are very thin and will serve to cut into the skin, making it harder still to release or control pressure. Cable clamps are preferable as they are solid and chunky enough not to embed themselves uncomfortably in your shaft skin. They are also robust enough to handle sizeable pressure.

I am a newbie in clamping and only been doing that for 1 month. Somewhat disappointed as I only gained like 1-2 mm in EG in this starting phase.

One thing I’ve noticed is that if I do not more or less continuously stimulate, my erection goes away. Of course slower than if I did not clamp but still, it fades away. I am clamping really hard using 1, sometimes 2 clamps and use wraps before I attach the clamp. I get the discolouring which is a sign I am doing this right. Maybe this occurs as I have a larger root than mid girth? During the clamping session, my EG expands approximately 8 mm (0.31”).

Anyone with an advice or same experience?

Have you read this thread? Big Girtha is of the opinion that erections are not necessary during clamping.

Dear Big Girtha, can you pls say why you use vibrators during clamping? What it helps with?

I hold the same opinion as well. I can get an expanded size larger then my erect size without getting an erection.

I read that but my problem is that I loose it so far so that the cable clamp is no longer clamping enough to trap the blood.

Read the thread in my signature, I illustrate a method for more constricted clamping with equi-directional force application. The reason you are losing the blood is because it flows out of the top and bottom of your penis.

I think most of his girth gains are in the CS. If I’m remembering his thread correctly so how could that be explained if the cable clamp was placing less force on the underside?

Also isn’t there a guy, I’ve seen it in a thread a guy who clamped a weight around his penis for 3days and had to be cut out of it. Well there they said any longer and tissue would die. Why couldn’t we go over 20 minutes if deoxygenation is a theory for more gains, especially if you condition your dick to last longer and longer, no permanent damage will be done? You say in your thread bib started the idea if you go over 20mins tissue will die yet experts had said the guy with a dick which increased many many times which was black.. I know, I know it’s unhealthy but even his tissue did not die after 3days. I think if you don’t clamp your dick off, say leaving some inflow and outflow but stay erect you can last longer and it will be safer.I’m sure I could do over 30minutes comfortable and I’m a newbie, someone with a year of experience could last hours which would mean having the dick in an enlarged stated for prolonged amount of time. From what I understand doing this enough the dick will repair itself in the enlarged state and over time it will become permanent.

I think it was most of Drilla’s gains that you are speaking of. Did you read this from Big Girtha?

Actually, marinera has a post on his science of PE thread describing a case where someone did something like you describe for several hours during a day. This was not beneficial. Sparkyx also has a thread (in the links on my thread) where he tried to experiment with this…no real results to speak of.

It’s a bit complicated (this is a beginner thread, mostly about HOW to clamp, in a basic way)…but it does not seem that it would hold the benefits. Reducing deoxygenation and increasing time, and reducing expansion and increasing time, are what we are speaking of.

This “growing in an enlarged state” is a myth, IMO. I think sparkyx agrees with me (if you read this, sparkyx, let me know).

I read everything from the link you referred to. Very interesting for sure and especially the OLF/OLR. Actually, my best gain in my length gain journey came when I applied some sudden change in stretch (V-stretch) and almost overdid it for a week or two. According to my measures, almost 1 cm out of 2.5 of length gain came there. I will consider to not do the routine-like 2 days on, 1 day off but try the OLF/OLR instead. Thanks for taking the time!

A month later and I have gained another 2 mm. Actually, I hoped for more but if I gain 2 mm every month another year or two…;)

I did not do as I stated in the post before. Rather 5 days on with 3-5 repeats of 15 minutes and mostly with two clamps. Then 2-3 days off to make sure I recover.

Do you take days off systematically, or only when you feel soreness?

I’ve been clamping using a shoe string. So far it’s seems to work pretty well and I mix in edging as well and detriments or disadvantages to this method?
