Clamp placement

I follow this thread with great interest. I was so certain that #1 or #2 was the way to do it until I took part of the original topic which is now replaced by this. I have always done #1 or #2 (mostly #2) and during the 5 months I have performed clamping exercises, I’ve had good gains (about 0.4”) and no injuries. I thought the idea was to have an equal pressure around the unit and that the cable clamp, because of it’s form (and together with a wrap), was the ideal tool for the work. Seems like perhaps I’ve been wrong all the time…

I had a rest day yesterday and will try some days with the placement of #3 to see if there is a change in effect.

I originally started doing the #3 way, then switched to #1 after a few weeks because it felt more comfortable.

I guess it is time to switch back to #3, since Big Girtha who has been doing clamping almost since the last Ice Age agrees to the #3 being the correct way.

Yes, that’s why I’m asking. I’m not clamping yet, but once I start, I want to be sure that I’m doing everything perfectly right.

Big Girtha says one thing, westla90069 say another. Both being users with quite a reputation around here, I would like to hear more opinions from other experienced/reputable users.

I guess it depends on the shape of your dick. I can’t clamp now.. Or for a really long time because of injury but when experienced use a double clamp and do them in 2 different directions.

My observations:

I clamped three times today. Two first with #3 and last time using #2. I did measure how much my penis did swell during the session and during the #3, which some veterans says is right, I only get another 2-3 mm expansion while with method #2, I get 7-8 mm.

I don’t say this proves anything generally, but for me personally it tells me that #2 is the right method for me. Also, when using method #3, the clamp easily slips to the side so it is difficult to find the perfect position. But it is very important for me to attach the clamp while I am only at 50% erection and don’t apply it very hard at first and then gradually build up the pressure and do kelgs throughout the session.

In my experience method 3 is and always will be the right way to clamp. Simply because the whole point of clamping is to trap a higher then normal amount of blood volume in the penis. With method 3 the expansion is forced to be circular while in method 1 or 2 the expansion takes on the natural elliptical shape.

Formula for area of an ellipse is Pi X r1 X r2. The greater the difference between the 2 radii or the flatter the ellipse the less the area. Max area is achieved when r1 = r2 which is just a circle. Volume is simply cross section area X height or length. So assuming equal circumference or girth. A circular object holds more volume then an elliptical one.

And besides method 1 and 2 is just plain dangerous. It always just didn’t feel right for me and it freaked me out to put direct pressure on the lig/dorsal vein area.

Steelfire,

I think it is important to keep in mind that, you are expected to get more expansion over time as you proceed through your clamp sets.
Swelling due to fluid build up will be significantly more during set 3 than set 1.
So it will be interesting for you to find out if your conclusion holds, when you start with placement #2 for set 1 and 2, then switch to placement #3 for set 3.

Let us know the outcome.

Is this the only way you have clamped throughout your PE career?

Yes. Always. This reduces pressure on the dorsal nerve and the CS and puts it on the sides where it should be.

I think differently.. Diversify!

By alternating (either randomly or based on some probabilistic distribution that you created) between 1, 2, 3 and 4 (and mirrored) - and even positions in between.

Somehow I feel this hits more “micro-regions” inside the penis, especially in the first 1 - 1.5 inches near the clamp, where the clamp placement will be more influential on the expansion that takes place.

The theory of doing #3 makes sense and I have done that today only and will continue to do so for some time. I just hate that I did not realize this and have spent 5 months doing it the wrong way…but well, I’ve got 0.4” girth gain during this period which is not that bad.

I have experimented a bit and come to the conclusion that I must clamp a lot harder using method #3 than #2 to achieve the same expansion effect. Also, it takes more time to build up the engorgement. With #2, I do that in 1 minute while with #3 I need to work on it for 3-4 minutes before it feels really engorged. Also with #2, I need to apply the clamp while the penis is pretty soft but with #3, I can apply it when I am 80% erect. That will give very little effect and hurt a lot more when doing #2.

Interesting thread, good that this discussion comes up, because I will start clamping in two weeks and also thought that pos #2 were the correct one, because of the oval shape.

I will try both postions and report the outcomes.

Good thread :P soon I will start clamping and go back to read this again

BigGirtha, I forgot what was the info you told me before about that liquid cialis, Ive attempted to clamp a few times and found it very challenging. It always seems like I start out with a 100% erection and the second I start wrapping it goes to a 95% and by the time I get the clamp on it is going completely away. I do have a stretchable cock ring and have always wondered if that would be doing that same thing as a clamp? It sure looks like it does. Anyways any info back on that subject about the liquid Cialis would be greatly appreciated BG.

Whats up Ymerej Esouhtaerg!

You can’t get enough pressure from cock ring, clamp is far superior when it comes to that.

This may be a bit off topic, but I feel it is somewhat pertinent to “clamp placement” or even to the placement of any PE device. Many threads have been posted about the correlation of ED drugs to PE. I’ve always felt that the use of any of these drugs make PE easier, and more effective, especially for older guys, but even for the young. Let’s face it. A hard dick is just easier to work with, and aggressive PE is hard on EQ, no matter what age you are. I even feel that a little bit of pharmaceutical aid helps with some length work as well. For me it is almost impossible to get a vacuum hanger on comfortably without a very stiff erection. In my experience, C works much better than the V, it lasts longer, it’s cheaper to use on a regular basis thus giving the best bang for the buck. I don’t pay the now ridiculous $28.00 a pill for it, I buy the $3.00 generic pill instead.

I think the MT-2 shit works even better, but has some side effects many find annoying. I’m kind of cycling off and on between the C and the MT-2. However, anything that helps you get hard and stay hard will help you gain girth, in fact I think just staying hard a lot probably increases girth to some extent. It’s just a matter of finding something that you can afford, and something you can live with.

However, it doesn’t take much of an erection to get properly clamped. Even a 5% erection clamped at the base with the proper amount of wrap can be jelqed into a rock hard dick. You just need to be firm enough to get that stretchy wrap on and that clamp cinched to the first click.
