Chat room/times?

Do we have a chat here? If so, when are good times to meet?

The chat here is pretty primitive, but it does work as far as I can tell. No one seems to chat anymore. Uncut and myself used to use Yahoo Messenger for chat, but I kept having probs with Yahoo and finally gave up. If people will use it (not like the PE Forum Chat that never gets used) I can install a little better chat software and have a link here in the forum to it. Also, the server company is rumored to be updating a free chat soon, but who knows when soon will be. Maybe, if there is any demand for it, I can set it up so both forums can use the same chat.

The problem with chat rooms is they need someone there pretty much all the time. Been there, done that.

Actually, I just played around with the member’s chat and it isn’t that bad. Doesn’t have any emotion buttons, but doesn’t have any adds either.

The screen will enlarge to a full size also.

Hmm ok. Well I think it would be cool to have a chat for this place and the ezboard forum. It would be awesome if we had something like on Reece’s site. We’d need that kind of membership though most likely. LOL, maybe we need some big expensive advertising and banners? J/K wouldnt want any more trouble than we could handle.

Send someone a private message if you want to chat with them. I’ll see if I can figure out a way to help the chat out.

As for now, the chat on Yahoo works fine at the moment. Haven’t had any probs with it lately. I do check it from time to time to see wether it does work or not. So, if anyone wants to set up a Club or Forum chat, go ahead and post it here. To find the chat, click on my link below.

It may be my firewall, more likely, it is all the crap I have on this machine. Pushing this P200 notebook a little hard lately.

OK, the chatroom is now linked on four different forums and I have asked Tom Hubbard to post a link on his site. I’ll also drag a link around in my signature on PE Forums for awhile. If it gets used a lot, I’ll try to find better software. Now all it needs is chatters.
