Changing Rods on Vac-extender

I need to go to the longer rods to achieve maximum stretch with the Vac-extender. Does anyone know how to change the rods??? So far I’ve tried pliers and the rods won’t budge.

You need to get hex pliers, I believe. You should have some around the house.

I don’t know much in the way of tools. What do Hex pliers look like?

Does no one know how to change the rods on the vac-extender?

Actually I figured it out. There’s an Alan Wrench that comes with the Vac-Extender that removes the screw from the side of the base. Then you can twist the rod out from the base and replace it with the longer rod.

When I first got the package I noticed the wrench, but I didn’t know what it was for. That’s what it’s for.

And now we know. :)
