cementing gains

cementing gains

Hi, I’ve been reading about the important of ‘cementing’ a gain once you’ve made one with a maintenance routine for a few weeks/months after the gain. My question is how many people here have stopped PE AFTER cementing gains. It seems people here make gains but then keep with their PE as they have additional gains they want to make. This would seem to confuse the issue about weather the gains were ‘cemented’ or merely being ‘maintained’ by the continued PE exercises. Is it possible to make a gain (for example 3/4” gain in length and girth after 7 months) then ‘cement’ it with a maintenance routine for say 2.5 months (assuming you have a proper maintenance routine) and then NEVER do PE again and really keep those gains? How many people here have even tried such a thing?

Your Dudeness,

>Hi, I’ve been reading<

These four words just made my day. Yay!

>My question is how many people here have stopped PE AFTER cementing gains.<

That’s a tough question to answer because there will be those that made the gains they wanted and left the PE community to follow on of those ‘normal lives’, that I hear so much about, in a place known as the ‘real world’. I think that is just a myth personally, and don’t believe it exists, but still people do disappear when they reach their goals.

>This would seem to confuse the issue about weather the gains were ‘cemented’ or merely being ‘maintained’ by the continued PE exercises.<

For each individual yeah that is true. Gains will usually cement while at the same time making new gains.

> Is it possible to make a gain (for example 3/4” gain in length and girth after 7 months) then ‘cement’ it with a maintenance routine for say 2.5 months (assuming you have a proper maintenance routine) and then NEVER do PE again and really keep those gains?<

Yes, that is the definition of cementing a gain. To cement, set in stone, make permanent. If gains are lost it’s because they were not cemented. I would personally continue full throttle after the goals are met, for at least a month, and then switch to a reduced maintenance routine. The length of time needed for this is really unknown, but I would play it safe and do it for a long time. I intend to do a minimal PE routine of manual routines forever, for dick health and flaccid hang. Oh yeah and that whole addiction thing but that’s another topic.

> How many people here have even tried such a thing?<

Very few people *here* have tried such a thing, but probably most that left have. And of course they won’t be joining in this discussion. Probably too busy spending time outdoors and talking to people without the use of a keyboard, freaks.

Good Luck

Cementing the gains is done by doing a light to moderate routine once or twice a week after you’ve reached your goal. Don’t stop cold, keep doing your routine but not as often as before. I call that “conditioning”. Or keeping it in shape, if you will.

…. But at what point do you know your dick isn’t going to revert to its smaller state?

Back into PE after 3 year pause

>…. But at what point do you know your dick isn’t going to revert to its smaller state?<

exactly! if your continuing PE once or twice a week to maintain those gains then are they really cemented? Because if you stopped your maintenance routine and then, over time, your dick reverted to it’s smaller state then were they really ever cemented? It’s a good theory to say just don’t ever stop your maintenance routine and you’ll be fine, but what if due to future circumstances this just won’t be possible (you join the army for example, not that the dude would ever do such a thing)

thanks for asking this tug_monkey.

tug,

>…. But at what point do you know your dick isn’t going to revert to its smaller state?<

Copied from my above post:

“I would personally continue full throttle after the goals are met, for at least a month, and then switch to a reduced maintenance routine. The length of time needed for this is really unknown, but I would play it safe and do it for a long time.”

I should have emphasised the words *at least*, being the paranoid git that I am I will no doubt continue for longer than a month. The specific amount of time is up to you I suppose, do you feel lucky?

Dudeness,

>exactly! if your continuing PE once or twice a week to maintain those gains then are they really cemented?<

Maintenance is different from cementing. Cementing is continued work at whatever intensity required to make the gains permanent. Maintenance is more of an insurance policy after you finish. A cemented gain needs no maintenance.

>Because if you stopped your maintenance routine and then, over time, your dick reverted to it’s smaller state then were they really ever cemented?<

Nope. You can have maintenance without cementing, as I found when switching angles after gaining, the opposite angle of stretch was enough to *maintain* the gains, but when I needed to take an extended break I lost the gains, because I didn’t cement them by *continuing with the same routine that got me the gains*. Same routine, same intensity and time variables is what is needed.

>It’s a good theory to say just don’t ever stop your maintenance routine and you’ll be fine, but what if due to future circumstances this just won’t be possible (you join the army for example, not that the dude would ever do such a thing) <

Well you continue for a while with the same routine that got you the gains, then drop to maintenance for insurance and flaccid hang, as well as dick health. Get it?

thanks man, - i get the diff. btw cement and maintain. However, the whole ‘insurance’ thing is a little unnerving. If you do the exact & proper cement routine, followed by maintenance for a month or 2 you could ‘theoretically’ then after those 2 months of maintenance drop PE altogether right? But has anyone actually tried such a thing? It seems most people here don’t, rather they feel they must always continue w/ the maintenance or lose the gains. Hence they were never really permanent.

dude,

>you could ‘theoretically’ then after those 2 months of maintenance drop PE altogether right? But has anyone actually tried such a thing? It seems most people here don’t, rather they feel they must always continue w/ the maintenance or lose the gains. Hence they were never really permanent.<

Well, Bib comes to mind, I believe he lost .25” or something of the 4”+ he gained after quitting fully. Yes I am sure people have tried this, those that left as I say above. If anyone else has and is still here I hope they will chime in too to put your mind at rest.

Another point I would like to add here, is that cementing time is probably relative to gaining time. I think those arsehole easy gainers could probably drop straight to maintenance as uncut says above, where as normal and hard gainers will probably need a few weeks to a few months to cement gains. Dropping to maintenance is, IMO, just to make sure. I think there is a lag between gains cementing and new gains being made, like, you reach the goal and stop, you lose something, and your size returns to the last cemented gain. Perhaps cementing should be done until a further gain is made past the goal, then drop to maintenance. That is probably necessary for paraniod hard gaining freaks only though.

Simple answer

you never stop.
