I was lying in bed last night, trying to picture how the Jelqing process works to enlarge penis. I tried to picture the cells enlarging with the strokes. I then thought to myself; ‘when we become 100% erect, that is when the cells are at their natural maximum size’.

So when we jelq at say a 70% erection, it would initially appear evident that we are not even increasing the cell size to their natural 100%. Surely we would need to go above the 100% to enlarge the cells?

I’m not suggesting for a second that I am right and everyone else is wrong, it’s just I’m beginning to question it’s effectiveness. I am as of yet to see any solid proof that I have gained.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Jelqing with a 100% erection is very dangerous. That’s the easiest way to get thrombosed veins. Trust me, I know.

Think of jelqing this way. You ARE expanding it beyond it’s normal capacity if you jelq with about 20-30% erection, or even half wood. When I get a normal erection, I normally don’t get bumps on my glans from extreme pressure, yet every jelq, I do. That tells me it is expanding way beyond it’s normal capacity.

As far as your gains, or lack there of, we all gain at different rates. Read the newbie section. There is a wealth of information on this board. I am a hard gainer. It has taken me years to solidify the average gains I have gotten. Experiment. Try different routines until you find what works for you. PE is not a quick fix, but a way of life.

You want an intense jelq try this. Using the OK grip at the base with about a 75% erection. Grab the head with your other hand and squeeze. At the same time jelq up slowly with the base hand. Release the hand on the head first, continue moving the other hand to the top then repeat.

That is pressure beyond a 100% erection. But if your new to this be very careful. You might not want to try it until you have a few months under your belt.

Good advice, thanks. I have been reading the newbie section. This is just a concern that I had.

So how can we be expanding our cells above 100% from a lower erection level if visually it isn’t apparent?

There are ways to jelq that will put you past 100%, but for now, if you are still in the newbie stage, stick with the basic exercises.

A 100% erection is maintained by your blood pressure. The internal pressure is usually around 120 mm Hg. It’s quite easy to exceed that amount of pressure using the jelq stroke, but you want to be able to control it. Erect jelqing is like squeezing a fully packed sausage. Just the right amount of squeeze will enlarge the sausage a bit, but if you go over the edge it will burst. The problem is, you don’t know where that edge is. Squeezing a tube that is only 70% full allows you to control how much pressure is put on the container (sausage casing or your tunica) and gives a margin of safety to the exercise.

Thanks westla, thats a bit clearer. So am I right in thinking that it’s the greater variation in blood levels (when applying pressure and not applying pressure) caused by jelqing at lower than 100% that causes the expansion of the cells?

Is it more about shocking the cells perhaps? I mean, is it because more blood is forced into cells quicker than it would when having a normal erection?

I never really think about it on a cellular level. I think about expanding the chambers of the cock and this means stretching the tunica in all directions for both length and girth benefit.

I would never jelq at 100%. I do erect squeezes at about 80% with a slight push up with the base hand. I don’t think jelqing at 100% is going to make you grow anyway. For one thing once your unit is that hard your veins are being pressed against the hard CC and there is no give. The presser will make you veins very sore, then you have to stop and heal. Or burst like West stated above.

I also think the harder your unit is the harder it is to expand beyond it’s current size. There are two things happening , one you are moving more blood in than there is normally. And that alone once fully erect will give you more pressure. So what I do is jelq with lower erection level to push as much blood forward as possible. Then I do erect squeezes to increase the pressure. I feel this is the safest way to work with high pressure while erect, without the threat of popping a vein.

I think it took me around half a year to see any visible, tangible growth. I think perhaps cells are multiplied because of having to supply the growth of continuously expanding veins, arteries and the CC. I started with tight skin along my whole shaft when starting PE (circumcised at birth) and now I have some extra skin to fill.

I dont believe jelqing is about building at the cellular level, it is a way to increase the vascular system specifically building the capillary networks to bring more blood to your penis. More blood flow means bigger stronger erections and possible inducing internal stretching of the penis. Additionally Im starting to think jelqing also is stretching ligs and tunica during your entire session which is equally beneficial perhaps more so, this I believe is best done at lower erection levels.

As for erection levels remember when your jelqing your trapping blood flowing out increasing internal pressure greatly.I would think well beyond 100% of natural erection pressure,this is why the vascular system expands - to accomodate the new stress on the capillary network.

Lastly I believe strongly ligament stretching is responsible for far more size (length) than jelqing, concentrate on MASTERING manual stretching and jelqing BASIC techniques and I believe you will see results.
