Best Heating Pad for PE

Use a quartz tube

Use a quartz tube instead of acrylic. I believe quartz is very transparent to IR light.

MRTips,

That is an interesting article from the U.of Wis. but for the immediate future look it looks like you would need an HMO to cover the costs. Looks promising, but a few years down the line though.

GP,

Not necessarily so - commercially and relatively inexpensive near IR diodes are available now. I am researching the emission spectra on these as we speak. Yes, the prices of some therapy units marketed right now are pricey but products come about in weeks not years these days and this device (near IR wand) already exists and has FDA sanction. Let’s see what I can find beyond the 3 or 4 I already have found.

Later,

MrTiPS

PS - BTW, I have the tools and embedded microchip technology including Printed Circuit board fab to make a pulsed LED array prototype myself if I can find the correct LEDs. I might just do that just for kicks to see what it will do if I can’t find one at a reasonable price or performance to experiment with.

One more thing MrTips,

I seemed like most of the injuries being treated were open wound type injuries. Is this treatment going to be effective for deep tissue use?

Good idea!

Quartz tubes here: http://www.quar … com/quartz.html

Check out these IR products.

Thanks Shiver

PenisSmith - Thanks for the link and info on petatech.

The power life on the battery pack is impressive.

Also, to the forum, in reference to an earlier post on a related thread, I neglected to give PenisSmith deserved mention for starting this IR discussion in the first place. I apologise for that hasty ommission.

Best Regards,

MrTiPS

Then - BPEL 5.9, EG 5.2 - Now: BPEL 7.2, EG 5.6 Listen woman, "Don't bitch at me for burning the candle at both ends - just get me some more wax!"

GP,

Based on some of the data about effective penetration, I suspect it would be effective. Some of the NASA numbers suggest several centimeters of tissue depth but those diodes are very powerful. However, the fact that vets use near IR technology on large animals like horses suggest that commercially available devices can penetrate quite deeply. You raise a very interesting point that I have thought about - penetration versus absorption. You need to get the photons deep enough but at energy levels still compatible with energetic coupling. What’s out there is highly suggestive - but, It merits further researching for sure.

All the Best,

MrTiPS

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this several times before in other threads, but I think you guys would be interested in the ‘Euon’ device. There’s a yahoo group for it too ( Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos). Since James the forum owner has been having some serious life crisis recently, he posted a list of all the parts required to make one, including the LED’s at various strengths and frequencies. I recall a thread about using it on your penis too if you dig around the Yahoo group.

Sorry to hear about James. We exchanged some Silent Sound emails a while back. I’d forgotten that he was going to use leds instead of inductors on his device. I didn’t know the Euon worked on the penis! I just happened to remember… vermis = worm… :)

I don’t know if it works or not on the penis (I don’t own one), I just came across a mention from James a while back about some odd effects when I was looking into piracetam, hupa, vinpo etc, and decided to subscribe to the daily digest.

I also remember reading about a NASA study that was looking into the ability of some woman who hadn’t eaten in decades, and claimed to live by absorbing the suns rays. Between all the rumour, stories and plain disbelief there was a theory that the right IR frequency can be used as the energy end product rather than getting it out of organic matter (sounds much like Mr Tips mentioned above about getting straight to the mitochondria). Sounds fascinating but it’s near the bottom of my list of diet things to try :) IR saunas are well known to speed sports healing so it sounds feasible.

Yeah I think speding $185 bucks on a heating pad is probably unecessary. I hear gprent101 on buying the buick instead!.

As for “heating” versus “healing,” I am very skeptical about anything that makes one heal faster in response to PE. This is the same discussion as those we were having a month or 2 ago regarding Vitamin C, antihistamines, and NSAIDs.

Received wisdom from the PE vets suggests always keeping length ahead of strength. If you heal too fast, your tissues become too strong, and your penis actually resists growth. I suspect many hard gainers may actually be fast healers.

Heat, on the other hand, has been shown to soften and facilitate the stretching of ligaments and other connective tissues. At least temporarily, heat promotes the expansion of tissues.

Promoting cell division may or may not help us PE’ers. The collagen fibers that make up the ligs and tunica are not themselves cells, but products of cells.
