Benefits of Heat in PE

I understand IR heating potential as a warm up, but would anyone recommend IR heating during actual workout? Like, constant IR heating while doing stretches and jelqs?

Thanks for the reply, I was more thinking along the lines of if it is plausible that constant heat during workout promotes gains, what are your thoughts about that?

The purpose of heat is to increase the extensibility of the tissues. I sometimes do PE with IR heat constantly on, but most of the time I just heat up and re-heat as often as necessary. There may be a small advantage to constant heat, but I find that it brings a lot of blood to the surface tissues as the penis tries to shed excess heat. The extra bloodflow to the skin causes the blood vessels in the skin to expand, causing redness, and unless I do a ton of firegoat rolls, I get more discolouration from constant heat. Normal heating and re-heating as necessary avoids that, and makes very little difference to results in my opinion. So for me, the disadvantages out weigh the advantages.

I think you’ve found the same study that me. It was a book who speak about therapeutic heat. The study say if you heat tendon/ligament to 45°C with a light stretch for a certain duration , you will have cimented gains.

I want to try it with a simple hanger and a stuff like this :

Your English is easy to understand. It’s good to remember that there is no ‘magic number’ for heat. It isn’t a case of a little below or above a temperature has no effect. ANY heat will help, but too much will cause burns. Hence the reason we use ‘as much as is comfortable’ for PE. I’ve seen similar studies with 42 C used. All that would need altering I imagine would be a little more time under stretch to achieve the same results as at 45 C.

From where I’m from, rice is very substantial so I’m considering a rice sock for heating.. But my problem is that we don’t have a microwave oven and we still use coal fired ovens out of clay. I was wondering how do you do your warm ups with the absence of a tub, shower, or microwave oven? I can heat water in a kettle but I think my folks at home would grow suspicious if I carry a small basin of hot water to my room. I was told here in the forums too that I could warm up my dick between my thighs but I guess it’s not doing well for me. SO any ideas?

That’s a difficult one! I hope someone comes up with a good idea for you. Your thighs are at body teperature, same as your penis, so they won’t help much. You can gain without heat, but it will be slower. What I do if I’m travelling and can’t warm up - I just start with a few minutes of gentle jelqing to loosen up the tissues and increase the bloodflow before I stretch. You can certainly so that.

Maybe I’ll try that. And I will also have to think of some way to sneak in hot water in my room without my family raising their eyebrows. A thought just entered my mind, how about I make me coffee every night and bring that into my room, then do my warm up with it?

You could just as easily take a cup of hot water to your room and if anyone asks about it, just say a friend had told you about the health/cleansing benefits he was getting from drinking a cup of hot water every night - in China they often have you drink lots of hot water after a massage to help flush toxins out of your blood stream. Say you will make it part of your routine to drink hot water in the evening for a few months to see if it works for you.

When I read the multiple studies of Lehman then i understand it’s between 40 and 45°. But reach this temperature inside the penis will be difficult for sure. I think , heat is the (a) key.

Dipping your dick in coffee doesn’t seem like a good idea, but well in the long term whoever is blowing you one day is going to say hmm smells nice, like coffee.

To measure temperature I’d suggest using a pyrometer, aka infrared thermometer. Measuring IR radiation intensity to estimate temperature, i think it could be very useful in understanding the inner temperature,not just the external (skin) one.

They should have a precision of 1/1.5 C, so good enough for our purposes here, and it shouldn’t cost a lot.

It has been a very long time.
Can I ask some of the experts if heating with this lamp is dangerous?
Will it cause cancer for instance?
As the unit is being heated for periods of over 5 minutes at a time regularly

I am not sure what the actual cause is by I have experienced pigmentation loss on my scrotum underneath both sides of my balls.
My skin was brown but now i have two 3 inch strips of pink…
A doctor suggested it is a skin problem not cancer but of course it is disconcerting and I am not sure what exactly to attribute it to but I thought maybe clamping and the heating is causing some problems.

Thoughts anyone?

All the reports I have ever read on IR suggest it is perfectly safe. I don’t know if those terrarium lamps are at the same spectrums of light as IR lamps designed for humans, but as their basic purpose - to provide penetrating heat - is the same, I would imagine they would have a similar or same safety level.
