A little history…

It’s been about two years since I last started any form of PE. I’ve done clamping, hanging, manual stretching, jelqing, pumping, you name it. And so I had never really stuck with jelqing enough to get good gains from it, so I thought I would really give jelqing a good shot this time. It’s been about three weeks into jelqing and I notice I have a much fuller longer flaccid all day. I thought I would use a overhand grip making sure not to jelq the corpus sponginosium since in the past that made me overtrain. My routine has basically been 30 mins of 60-70% jelqing with a strong grip milking from the base of my dick all the way to the head doing dry jelqing for a greater pump alternating hands every few strokes and putting pressure on the sides of my CC’s.

I noticed that I alaways had a thicker longer flaccid that would carry on to the next day and I wouldn’t turtle. But today I tried to give something new a shot just to test something new when I dry jelq. I did the typical 30 min routine but this time I eased up quite a on the jelq grip strength with hands with a light to medium pressure instead of the strongest grip I could apply and jelqed around the 50-70% range with a three second stroke each time.

usually I do a 2 on 1 off schedule and with this slight difference of a weaker grip and slighter faster strokes then usual my EQ went way down and I could barely get a erection for jelqing. I don’t have any turtling at all my flaccid is long and thick but it’s kinda weird how using a lighter pressure which I connsiously used for jelqing caused my EQ to go way down when the other way never did…

I bet if I take two days off then my EQ will be back to normal but I just don’t get why a stronger jelq grip stroke would do nothing to my EQ versus a much lighter jelq stroke to cause this.

Anyhow, I hope I can get some gains from this no matter how small after some rest… :)

Bro, if you did the dry jelqs correctly, 30 minutes is way too long. Dry jelqs are more intense than wet jelqs, so no surprise you overworked. I think for a couple of days your EQ will have some trouble, thereafter it will be back and your erections will fell very powerful for some days.

Edit: or you did dry jelqs from the re-starting? So only the speed of the stroke you performed differently?

I think I was doing the dry jelqs correctly marinera. The thing with jelqing is it really is more complex then one thinks at first. Maybe I was doing them wrong, I just didn’t want to jelq my CS with the OK grip because that led to overtraining before.

I did dry jelqing from the beginning for the last thriee weeks and was doing kegels, no manual stretching or anything else.

What was different was the amount of pressure I did with grip at the base of my dick and stroking upward and also like you said the speed of the stroke which went from 5 second hard gripped strokes to 3 second strokes. Another thing I noticed was I didn’t get good sleep last night so maybe that played a factor in my recovery from the previous day.

But I really think it has something to do with the grip strength with a much lighter to medium grip at the base with a faster stroke speed. Other then those those things everthing was the same…

The kind of grip you describe is what actually I suggest, because safer; it this the same idea that inspired Tom Hubbard’ drumsticks and AFB.

I think a slow motion with dry jelqs is advisable, because when you dry jelq everything is, let’s say, amplified, every small change in force can make a world of difference and if you are milking fast that can put some pressure on the glans and dorsal nerve. So, all considered, I think you are just overworked. The overwork could be cumulative.

You started right with 30 minutes? I remember when I tried dry jelqs for the first time I did maybe 50 strokes and the next day I was feeling my dick exploding at every erection.

I often dry jelqing in the morning at my morning wood lying in bed. And I do no more than 10 minutes and my strokes are between 5 to 10 seconds, with a strong kegel each stroke.. overhand!

I like to jelq with long slow stroke, when you are in more control what you are doin.. than long sessions, doin fast jelqs.. wondering if the half of the hundred jelqs were good, wasted or if I overworked it.

Maybe it is cumulative from the stresses I applied but I was never orvertraining for about three weeks of jelqing with a strong grip and slow strokes of jelqing. Which is funny to me. I want to take off two to three days and see if my EQ improves to back to were it was, then if it does I’m going to try that same softer grip with 3 second strokes and see if if I overtrain again but this time I’ll jelq for only 20 mins at a time. If it does happen again then I probaly will switch up my schedule with jelqing and take a bit more rest. I’m probaly really deconditioned considering I took a 2 year break from PE altogether.

Mr. Lover, are you gaining girth or length or both from your method? I often kegel each stroke too.

Probaly less jelqing at this point and more rest would be good for me…

Yes, I’m in the gain zone now but girth is goin very slow you know but I’m in it so it feels good that my routine is working for me. But I’m doin other things then dry jelqing. So I don’t know if my gains comes from them or from the orher sessions I’m doin. Maybe it’s the combo of all parts.

Last week when I’m done my dry jelqs I put on an cockring 7 to max to minutes and edgin with that on. And the results after that is great :-)

Have you considered the possibility that the lighter faster strokes are somehow more effective and causing more stress ?
It seems counter intuitive but I’ve seen guys say they made better gains when they lightened up on their grip.

You really need to try it again and see if the same thing happens.

I’m going to take it a bit slower now that I haven’t PE’d for two years but that’s awesome you’re making some gains with your routine mr. lover! I’ll just keep trying hard this time to figure out what works for me with dry jelqing and possibly switch to wet jelqing in the future if I can’t figure out dry jelqing (I really like the convienince of dry jelqing though hehe).

I remember Edging those were some fun times, maybe I’ll give it a go again after awhile… :)

Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing capernicus1. Like I said I’m going to expierment and see if lighter faster strokes give me different/faster results in the next few days. When that happens I’ll keep everyone updated. And yes it does seem counterintuitive that’s why I was suprised when I lost some of my EQ after doing that comparred to the stronger slower strokes.

Of course as we all know everyone is different so what works for one person may now nessicarrly work for others…

More intense doesn’t necessarily means more effective. Just saying. Our penis, it doesn’t like to get stretched fast. Being so old now, I can’t remember if I have ever gone from flaccid to erect in 3 seconds, probably not though. Anyway see what works for you but don’t get injured.
