I think I feel more stress straight down or BTC after hanging a couple fulcrum sets, though it could be my imagination. I hope someone else will check it out. Compare your LOT before and after fulcrum hanging or hanging or stretching upward. Hell, also check for changes after stretching down (separate workouts). I will if I remember. :)

AFAIK, nobody has checked to see how stable LOT is and whether it changes temporarily during a workout. Probably have to use a more precise method of measuring than eyeballing the hour.

Ok my lot is about 8:30, so ishould be stretching below it for lig strecth right? I just want to make sure , before i setup up a new routine.

I explained my idea for kegels earlier, but RK’s are the similar, if you are hanging BTC and reverse kegel, I doubt more shaft would be exposed because you are already fully extended (unless you are at sub-max weight). But more stress is placed on the ligs because of this pushing, and the maximum force exerted is equal to the maximum force that the reverse kegel muscles can exert.

If you can RK with x pounds, then doing an RK while hanging would be equivelant to pulling on the hanger with x pounds of force.

AFAIK? And For All I Know?

I have done this, I got no change in LOT from tunica/fulcrum stretching. I expect this would not be the case with lig stretching.

Checking LOT (and FSL of course) after a session could be a good test to see if it did any good.

I think I may have had a huge break through this morning!!!!! I have to try to do an illustration to show it and that is going to be difficult…it’s a damn prezel shaped thing. I have to say though, I hit areas I never hit before and I feel like a newbie. I am supposed to save these things for my site but this is too good to keep to myself….ouuucccchhhhhh.

Give me a couple hours to try to explain and draw it I promise it will be worth it.

Not too sure yet. It is quite intense but it is done completely flaccid using the A-Stretch theory so maybe everyone can do it. After I post it maybe Bib could give a better idea on that.

It looks as if everyone has the correct general idea, some just say things in a little different way. Any misconceptions seemed to be corrected. I think SS4 really has it down pat.

If I misinterpreted, just point out the diverse opinions, and I will weigh in.
