Appearance of length vs girth

This may be off-topic, but I hope you won’t mind:

According to engineering, the structural stability of a hollow cylinder increases when the length (height) vs. circumference ratio decreases. Researchers tested this on a group of ED patients, correlating the severity of their condition with the length/girth ratio of their penises. The correlation showed without doubt that those with girthier penises were in clear advantage. As the length/girth ratio increased, the blood pressure in the CC had to be significantly higher to maintain erection. The study demonstrated that often the “pencil penis” condition was the main cause of the ED.

I don’t recall the link right now, but I could find it if anyone is interested…

Starting BPEL: 6.9" (Dec.1st, 2008)

Current BPEL: 8.11" NBPEL: 7.63" BPFSL: 9.09"

Current MEG : 5.6"

I would like to sincerely thank everyone for the positive comments. Thankfully for Thunders my insecurities have plummeted big time. Clubber: my width on the top from left to right is a tad over 1.5 inches.

Wow, I`ve never thought about it that way, but it makes physical sense that a thicker cylinder would be more structurally sound.and so girth increase is the answer to some forms of ED.

Well there you have it kimish, your width is very thin for having a 5.25 girth, leading me to believe this is the reason you were called thin by those girls, as you must have a perfectly cylindrical penis.

Now: NBPEL = 6.4 MSEG = 5.3 BEG = 5.75

Goals: NBPEL = 7.0 MSEG = 6.0

Hey Kimish,

I share the same measurement of a little over 1.5 width and about 5.2girth; hence the skinny wiener comment I have received from a few ladies myself. My length is 7.5 nbp : )

I’m going to flatten my penis out now, just kidding. :) , No but seriously, so it isn’t just me thinking that and girls being mean, that takes actually gives me peace of mind now because I know I’m average in girth a the least, these girls were truly honest and i’m not going crazy in the head.

It definitely messes with our head, I see pictures on her with some guys girth at 5 and they look huge because they are just wider. Girls will get the impression that someone wider is probably much larger even if we have same stats, which sucks. Again as I mentioned I gained some length so really my unit still looks the same size even since I gained girth. I started at just below 7nbp x 4.8 and am now 7.5nbp x 5.2.

I have also been told I was skinny, other girls told me I was big.

May be I’m wrong, but: “correlation” doesn’t mean “cause-effect”.
Perhaps exist another hidden cause with side effects in CC (genetic, circulation,…), and that’s only a coincidence.

Just my two cents.

GOAL: 20 x 15 cm

Weird. Some have a width of 1.5 inches, girth is 5.25.

I also have in the middle of 5:25 and my penis is broad exactly 1.7. I measured with the Nonius, subler, Vernier scale, or how it’s been called: D

Not sure if this is the study but it’s kinda related:

“Penile aspect ratio (D/L). This is the diameter to length ratio of the pendulous penis. Since the assumption is made that linear expansion is the same in all directions, the penile aspect ratio is assumed to be the same at all intracavernosal pressures for any given patient.”

“Examples of the two extremes of D/L are discussed; a high D/L ratio, consistent with a short, thick erect penis and a low D/L ratio, consistent with a long, thin erect penis. At Pˆ45 mmHg, a patient having the highest D/L ratio (Fbuc 1.89 kg) could withstand a buckling force 115% greater than a patient having the lowest D/L ratio (Fbuc 0.88 kg). A short thick erect penis, all other parameters being equal, thus has a greater ability to overcome initial vaginal introital resistance
than a long, thin erect penis.”

“Using (9), it is evident that penile buckling forces are directly proportional to the square of the magnitude of the flaccid penile diameter. In the 21 patients the ratio of the largest flaccid diameter (3.34 cm) to the smallest flaccid diameter (2.23 cm) was 1.5 or when squared is 2.24. Thus, all other parameters being equal, a patient with the largest flaccid diameter could withstand buckling forces double the magnitude of the patient with the thinnest flaccid penile diameter.”

That kind of whore would get kind of slap to the mouth from me if she say something like that. She’s been fucked by so many guys sitting around - she is literally a whore. Kimish, don’t be insecure about what that kind of women say to you. She only tries to act like a “bitch”. If you ask me, I wouldn’t allow her to talk like that at all.

Talking about girth-length theme. I have mid shaft 5.2, base girth is 5.5, head is even thinner than mid shaft (didn’ measure). My length 7.4-7.5 BPEL, fat pad doesn’t exist almost at all (may be 0,2 in). Looks kind of proportional to me. Would like to make it 8-8,5X5.7-6.

@bohm: The article you’ve quoted (from 1998) is one of a series of more articles on the same issue. My source was a more recent article (2003), having your article as one of the references:

I’ve just given a very quick read; it seems they only measured the flaccid ratio, that’s strange.

Anyway, the hypothesis is consistent with what we see around here: that length work tends to decrease EQ and girth work to enhance it (although there are other factors involved).

I’m 8bpel by around 5.25mseg, so frustrating :( !

^ Look at the bright part: we have potential to gaining girth and increase EQ at the same time! :)

@marinera: “Penile circumference (C in cm) and penile length (L in cm) were measured by a metric ruler at the flaccid state (Cfl and Lfl, respectively), as well as at the rigid state at intracavernosal pressure of 150 mmHg (Lrig and Crig, respectively). Penile length was measured from the pubic bone to the middle of the glans penis.”
