I’ve been looking for ways to maintain a gentle heat all day long, as I think this encourages growth and/or healing. It also keeps one ready for exercise or clamping at any time. I was originally hoping for something like a battery-powered hand-warmer, but have had no luck. What I’m trying out now is two chemical handwarmer pads (available almost anywhere for a buck or so) held in place with a Velcro’ed neoporene wrap. The level of heat seems right and it lasts for several hours. This is quite unobtrusive and quite comfortable :-)
I would welcome further thoughts on this subject. (Be nice, this is my first new thread as a new member.)
I’d prefer something that wouldn’t be a recurring expense (although minor, in the case of the handwarmers). Considered ski-boot-warming pads, which are indeed battery-powered, but they cost over $200.
