After 1.5 long years...I think I hit the plateau

So about a year and a half ago, I started PE (My starting stats are in my signature just for reference.) And I’m glad to say I have grown! Now I know a lot of you might say, why are you doing PE, your unit is big as it is and yes I have heard that from a couple of girls but there was one girl that got to me and I haven’t been able to shake it but we’re all here to grow, so I am sure you will all understand.

For starters, I am 5’8”, 158 lbs…about average build but I can’t help but feel like I am inadequate at times. Which is why I started PE. The problem is the last few months I had a full-time job plus problems with the girlfriend, so I went from doing a 30 minute routine including jelqing everyday, to about 10 minutes of jelqing every other day. But now I am free of my job and have worked things out with my girlfriend.

So my questions are as follows:
1. Is a warm-up necessary/beneficial to growth? And if so, why?
2. Along with returning to my 30 minute routine, I will be using a pump, but the pump I am using is not thick enough and when enlarged my girth grows to about 6.25 and just squeezes against the sides of the pump. Should I stick with this pump to promote length gains as the restriction will focus the swelling on length rather than girth? or should I switch to a bigger pump.

If you want to answer one of the questions and leave the other for someone else to answer, any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

1. yes it is beneficial, but PE can give gains without warm up.

2. You should buy a bigger pump. A too small cylinder will not help length gains but blisters.

A1 I personally find warm up very important because when I am warmed up I have better workout outs. I find I can stretch more when I am warmed up and after PE I have a plump flaccid.

Should I do my warm-up/jelq/stretch before or after pumping? Should I see which feels better? or try both and compare results?

Jelqs before pumping I say. Back when I did some pumping I found that it’s harder to jelq well with a post-pump member, whether it’s from fluid buildup or whatever. But I’m sure that there are more seasoned pumpers that have answered this question before (check the pumper’s forum).

As for the warmup, I used to suck at it. When I did start with the old rice sock it did help my jelqing a lot. I didn’t necessarily make better gains but it was much easier to get in the right “zone” when jelqing. These days I do a lot of stealth stretching throughout the day in addition to my regular stretching session, basically what some around here call “piss pulls”, and don’t warm up for those. So far I have a noticeably larger flaccid hang throughout the day but it’s too early to say anything about gains. I would start hanging instead of pumping dude. Pumping does not work well permanently for a large percent I would say, and hanging almost always does. I just think pumping is way too temporary.

I kind of figured and was leaning towards jelqing before pumping as after pumping my member does seem to be bit more sensitive. I will probably stick with that.

In response to ironaddict, I know that pumping isn’t ideal for permanent gains specifically in length, but I have heard that dedicated pumpers do gain a good amount of girth permanently due to the swelling which after awhile does become permanent. I’m sure a maintenance routine is involved with these ‘permanent’ gains but I’m willing to do that if that’s what it takes. Correct me if I am wrong.

Also, what does hanging entail. I know a little bit, and if I were to hang, I would be focusing on the tunica, which means I would have to set up a reverse sort of hanging setup correct? If you could lead me to a beginners hanging setup or anything of the sorts, it would be very appreciated. The only thing is, I am still living with my folks and stepbrothers, so privacy is a concern.
