A Pump From Jelqing?

Are you supposed to get a pump from regular dry jelqing?

First I tried dry jelqing at 50-60% erection, didn’t feel much. And now at 85-95% erection, I still don’t feel all that much. Am I doing something wrong?

I want to add that if anything, I am shrunk after jelqing, my unit feels thinner, lighter, etc.

I know I get the same results after dry jelqing. I just chalked it up to the fact that I can’t do it. It may have been my technique, but I think it was more that my dick didn’t react well to it. I am cut, if that makes a difference.

I am in between cut and uncut I think, I have enough skin where I can dry jelq without a problem at all. But for some reason I don’t get any kind of pump from it at all. And it almost bothers me that afterwards my unit feels smaller/shrunken, etc. :(

I should probably clarify a bit. I am fully cut but have enough skin to dry jelq (yeah it’s pretty freaky…I’ll have to post a pick of it sometime). And I don’t get a good pump from it either. Any reason why you don’t wet jelq? Don’t they do the same thing?

They’re basically the same exercise. I don’t wet jelq personally because I don’t like the feel of it much, honestly. I hate getting my hands all messy, etc. etc.

This makes me think that jelqing simply isn’t for me and maybe I should move onto hanging or something that might provide better results?

Then again I have been jelqing around 10 minutes a day for 5-6 days in a row, now.

Maybe I should alternate days of hanging and near 100% erection jelqing?

It could help. I never do girth exercises on consecutive days. I have found that I get negative results (according to my PIs) if I do. I have also just recently started clamping. It is phenomenal. Very addictive, but very extreme. You’ve been around a while. Have you ever tried it?

Also, I jelq in the shower and use conditioner. It works really well and is not messy at all. Of course, like you said, jelqing may just not be for you.

I know you are addressing dry jelqing, but just for comparison, I got a fantastic pump from wet jelqing, especially using my Girth Blasters technique. This technique was the closest routine I have found to duplicating the pump I get from vacuum pumping. After this wet jelq technique I was not only larger, but the effect lasted all day.

gprent, I get the same results from wet jelqing. Although recently, under the direction of XL, I started clamping for about 10 minutes right after jelqing. I jelq in the shower and when I am done, I get out, clamp up (I am usually about 50% after the jelq session), then I dry my hair, brush my teeth, etc.etc. with the clamp on. After about 10 minutes I take the clamp off, but the pump stays with me sometimes until I go to bed. It is awesome. I’ve only been doing this for a couple of days, but it seems like it is working well.

I had a similar after jelq routine. I put on a cock ring and did an erect massage for 10-15 minutes. Even though I pump now, I finish all of my PE sessions this way. I believe it is an integral part of cementing in gains.

gprent101, you seem to really know what you’re doing with PE. I really respect what you say, etc. Can you give me an idea of a routine to do? As you know dry jelqing doesn’t do much for me. I was cable clamping everyday for a while and it was killing my erections. Hanging I have done in the past, seems to work well I guess.

Hope you don’t mind if I jump in here. Maybe you should go back to clamping but not every day. I do it every other, Then on off days I make sure to get a good solid erection going for a while. Just my .02, but I understand you wanting advice from gprent. He’s been around for a while and has been proven. Sorry if I butted in where I wasn’t wanted.

What do you want to focus on?

My main goal has been to go for girth and therefore I came up with my Girth Blaster routine while I was taking a break from pumping, but now I pretty much pump full time with a few extra finishing techniques thrown in as previously mentioned.

Honestly, gprent, I am going for HEALTH more than anything else at this point it seems. I feel like my erections are often weak, my sex drive isn’t always that great, my discoloration often gets out of hand where my girlfriend is looking at certain marks on my dick wondering where they’re from, etc.
