I know that PE is something that takes time. I understand that and entered into the venture excepting it. But at the same time I hear all this talk about beginner gains.

Long story short I’ve been pulling on my pud for the past month and I gained an eighth of an inch in length nothing in girth and being only 4.75 around its girth I want most.

Sigh. I’ll just keep on keeping on, was just hoping the first month or 2 would show me something that would carry me through. I mean if these are my beginner gains, is it going to slow up? Am I a hard gainer?

I got my first gain after 3 months… for many it is the same.

If you gain anything at all isn’t that enough to carry you through? I mean, holy $hit man your dick is bigger! Enjoy it and work even harder your 2nd month!

You could change up your routine to see if it helps your gains.

1/8” in a month? Thats pretty good going. 1/8” X 12 = 1.5”. OK its not the fastest, and you won’t get 1/8” every month, but its worth being wary of the claims of people who say they are going super fast. Check out Size’s database for some averages.

Some guys will get 1/2” + in the first month and thats fine, they won’t get that 4 months down the line and a certain amount of that is recovered length. So how old are you?

Also what’s your LOT?

Are you a hard gainer? Who knows at this stage, ask yourself that in 12 months.

Have very little personal experience with which to comfort you, but from what I have read on this site, a lot of big gainers started out slow. In any case you grew dude!


I’m 28, LOT is about 8 and I follow a pretty basic routine. All manual stretches focus on BTC and straight down, and wet jelqing, warm up with a hot wash cloth.

Thing is I’ve had a ton of free time and have been spending a bunch of time PE’ing. Took days off when I felt i needed them but was hoping for a quarter inch this first month, and level off at maybe an eighth a month from there.

I won’t have as much time available to me come Monday. Sigh. You are correct though…I did grow, and yes and inch is nothing to sniff at in 8 months, just wanted a little burst upfront you know?

28 makes it more likely to get that initial gain but getting 1/8” this month doesn’t mean you won’t get 1/4” next month.

The warm wrap is important and I found it made a significant difference if it was too cool. The best heat seemed to be very close to scalding, which is a fine line.

If your are stretching BTC, can you heat during the stretches too? Maybe for the first half of your routine?

How long are your sessions? They should leave you feeling it but if you are shrunken afterwards or you are jelqing for an hour you might be doing too much. Doing too little is more obvious, your penis doesn’t feel worked.

If time in a single block is a problem, it might be worth considering doing a split routine, 15 minutes or so stretching in the morning and up to 20 minutes jelqing in the evening. Jelqing downward using an overhand OK also means you can leverage jelqing time as stretching time too.

I can absolutely try keeping heat on during the stretches BTC. I’ve been thinking about making a rice sock anyway. The wash cloth cools off so quick. I also do stretches in all directions.

As far as length of time, I was very moderate the first week or 2. These last 2 weeks I’d estimate about 20-40 minutes stretching, and maybe 20-30 jelqing. I would jelq in various directions, and add 2 or 3 10 second Ulis throughout.

Shrinkage is hard to say. He would tighten up a bit sometimes after a work out but generally was larger then pre workout. I usually climax at the end of a workout.


Very few guys get fast gains, and most of the guys that do get fast gains are fast to talk about them so it seems everybody is making quick gains but the reality is most people are lucky at best to gain 1 inch in a year or less. And the slow gainers are not going to announce slow or no gains. I started out a medium gainer and now I’m a slow as a snail gainer but I keep on keeping on and I have slowly and I mean slowly turned my dick into a mighty impressive tool if I don’t say so my self.

When good gains come, some guys sure can’t talk fast and loud enough about them and I think most of us don’t mind hearing about it for inspiration.
Oh, and check it out: .6” EL in the last 9 1/2 weeks. Stud! I’ve got a fat 8.35” now: that’s pretty hung! :D

What good gainers and any goal achievers are slow to do is give up hope. I saw no gains at all during my first 3 months. Slow starter reports such as in this thread helped keeping me convinced to stay busy. I really don’t expect to hit my goal at my current ramming speed but I know I will get there.

You’ve already had gains in your first month. That’s positively great news IMO.

Nothing for me for the first…4 months? Hell I don’t even remember anymore. I expect that the majority of guys here have zero gains in the first month.

Lately I have been averaging 1/16 per month so 1/8 isn’t that bad at all.

But seriously, I’m in the same boat, but opposite. I’m shooting for legnth gains, but to date, my EL has no visible gain (even though I haven’t measured it yet) but my girth is increasing. I do stretches for ~45 mins, and jelq for 15 mins. But I’m gaining girth instead of legnth. By the way, I’m only 3 weeks into the world of PE.

Just keep working, growth spurts might not occur in start, but suprisingly later into the routine. Just keep working..

There is no question that I will continue to PE. I was just hoping that the first month or 2 I might get some quick beginner gains. I have read all the links here and see that bigger gains moving forward is very possible.

I have updated my data on the size data base, and have taken pics from the start and will continue to do so monthly. Hopefully one day in the future I will be able to share my story to motivate someone else just getting started.
