Poking about in the restless jackoff debate… About T, I have nothing to back me up except personal experience which tells me MXL’s statement is true: “Jacking off decreases T for a short time after emission. However, the same research shows that in the hours that follow, it rises to a level higher than it was. Regular emissions keep the T level good and elevated.”
Whether or not T has anything to do with gainrates, I really don’t know. What I do believe - and I suspect this to be equal or more to the point in the jackoff debate than T - is that the ligs stiffen up after ejaculation. Taking only this condition into account, I can’t make a plausible assumption that it works for (length) gains through hanging or jelqing; stretching or tugging: Isn’t the consensus with most succesful hangers that of warming (the ligs; loosening them up) before and during hanging, or at least before and until halftime through a set?

I was hoping the whole ejaculating vs. not thing as it pertains to testosterone levels had been discussed enough and put to rest.

Testosterone varies a whole lot throughout the day, but is generally highest in the morning. Nutrition, stress and probably a zillion other factors affect T levels. Total T by itself doesn’t mean much. Free T is more important. The testosterone:estrogen ratio is also a consideration, as are levels of other hormones.

Side note: roughly 98% of a guy’s testosterone is tied up and basically useless. The remainder is either free or weakly bound and able to do its thing on androgen receptors.

IMO, eating too little and/or poor diet, being significantly overweight (fat), getting overly stressed or sleep deprived, drinking too much alcohol, and similar things have much more impact on testosterone than how often you blow a load.

I seriously doubt that a man with high T will gain any better than one who is on the lower end of average. We are stretching connective tissue, not growing muscle.

Don’t look to hormones, pills, or “The Secret Magic Routine” for faster progress. Stick with the basics. Read and learn. See how your body responds and adjust your program accordingly.

Back to the topic of the original post, I agree with Magnum that heat is important. Think of trying to stretch taffy that has been in the freezer vs. some that has been warmed in the sun. It’s easier to stretch the warmer stuff. Not a bad analogy for stretching connective tissue.

Sorry Guys, I did not want to raise the whole ejaculation and T issue again. I just knew that suggesting one ejaculate prior to pe and heat pumping would raise the T issue and I hoped my comments would dismiss that focus. T levels wasn’t my point in reference to ejaculating before pe. A careful reading of my comments show that I believe T levels have nothing to do with gains. I have 2-3 orgasms a day, sometimes more, one way or another. And I have had really good gains. I am going to keep it up at a high level as long as I can. What can I say…I like it! It keeps the old system functioning at a high level of efficiency…like a well oiled machine. LOL I had my T levels tested and they are very good for someone my age. As I said, I think that after puberty T levels have no influence on penile length or girth. Otherwise steroid ladened body builders would all develop long ones. And that is just not the case.

ANYWAY my point was that flacid penile size is at a minimum just a few minutes after ejaculating. Body enzymes block the NO releasing reactions that allow erection. Penis shrinks to a minimum. So if we can make our mimimum length much larger with pe and heat pumping, we will eventually develop a much larger, longer, and fatter flacid size.

Agreed. Very good post (and I speak as a man who has tested at very high levels of T). As you said, “we are stretching connective tissue, not growing muscle.” And as far as the CC/CS expansion, via impaction techniques, I doubt that T has anything to do with the smooth muscle “repair” taking place within those blood-filling chambers (T does have an impact on striated muscle repair).

We need to get away from the “magic bullet” mentality (i.e., hormonal therapy, penis “enlargement” pills, supplement cocktails, etc.). As you said, Heat plays a role. And so does a normal healthy diet & exercise. Also, strategic breaks are very important.

Other than that, it’s all about Time and Dedication….and how badly you really want it.

Unless your dick is made of plastic, I don’t think there’s any advantage to using heat to stretch, then cold to “freeze” it to that size. I only use heat.

Doesn’t cold reduce swelling? Don’t we want swelling?

I think cold is mostly reasoned to use for the ligs, which of course is a whole different tissue than CC, CS, et.c.

By freexing I just mean lowering the temperature back down to body temperature while maintaining the unit at its extended length. A gel pack just cools it down to 90 or 94 F a bit quicker. BTW, connective tissue is described with the term “plastic.” It loosens when warm, stiffens when cold. MXL

So when freezing your dong, all you really are doing is “cementing” it in this longer state and hope that it takes and sets? By artificially controlling its dimensions you can better set the size in theory?

Yup, that is pretty much it. Loosen it up with heat, stretch it out with pe , and cement it at in the longer configuration.

Magnum, thats very interesting stuff. I disagree respectfully on the jacking off thing. Ultimately you are draining vitality from the organism. the Taoists refer to it as Ching. Call it what you like. Once you get around 48 you really begin to notice the effect of frequent masturbation on energy levels and mood. Up until then some might not notice.
