ThunderSS, this is the second time you have opened up membership recently and you said the last time was to try and reel in more funds. I’m not liking this …

What’s that mean? I was only saying that if these new openings are also for money then it can only mean that the future of this forum is currently in doubt which is not a good thing.

It means that until you’ve dropped some ducats to be here, remember that others have and you haven’t?

Be grateful for what we have— T keeps this place together with baling wire and duct tape— and if you got any ideas [or skills], let him know.

Believe me I would, but I’m at Job Corps right now and thus am not making a paycheck. I need to conserve what money I have because once it’s gone, I won’t be getting more for a long time. It’s a good thing they provide everything here for free.

At the risk of sounding petulant, perhaps you should be more informed regarding the circumstances of a situation before you make a statement out-of-hand.

Not knocking that— and didn’t say that at all- YOU were the one bitching.

I didn’t kick in until my 2d-3rd season here— but it didn’t occur to me to bitch about any-effin’-thing.

I don’t see how you missed my intent. I’m not bitching. It was an expression of worry and concern.

T isn’t looking to make money on this site, only enough to keep if functioning well. Donations help a lot, but let’s not imply that $$ is his motivation. It is not.

I’m aware of that fact. It was implied or stated by Thunder recently (can’t remember which) that money to simply keep the site running is something of a problem currently.

That wasn’t how it read to me. If you intended otherwise, then nothing more to see here
