If you are currently doing PE and you haven’t had improved EQ or worse yet, you have had DECREASED EQ…take 2-3 weeks off…COMPLETELY OFF.

If you have been over training, you will find after about a week or so, your EQ will start to improve. It may continue to improve for several weeks, at which point it will slowly begin to decrease again. This is the point to begin training again.

I would suggest a very simple routine, far less than you had before. Something like 5 minutes of modest jelqing and 5 minutes of kegels every other day or less (kegels are VERY important).

Remember what your EQ was like at its best or highest point, and make sure you maintain that level or at least never be more than one rest day away from that point.”

This may seem like a stupid question, but to people who have seen a strong correlation between improved EQ and rapid gains, how “good” was the “good EQ”, specifically?

I ask because I neither have a good baseline of good EQ from the past (frequent fluctuation) and nor a steady EQ to judge by in the present. Sometimes it seems improved (rock hard), and sometimes it seems poor. I have nocturnal tumescence, but never to the point of waking me up.

When I take a 2-3 day break, my EQ seems perhaps mildly improved, but again it’s difficult for me to tell. It can change between morning and noon, without any form of PE or masturbation in between.

The one thing that’s certain is that my EQ has not decreased (at least substantially). It may have increased, but if it has, it’s only increased moderately. This may be construed in an optimistic light. However, I have seen only negligible gains / newbie gains for the 4 months I’ve practiced PE, which seems to suggest I’m not doing things optimally.

I can not thank you enough for having posted this valuable contribution regarding EQ.

I had eased into PE by doing only 50-70reps/session (with Kegels, wet towel warmup, etc) for a couple of months. When I measured 1” girth and 1/2” length gains, I enthusiastically, determined to go full ‘Newbie Routine’ at 150-200reps/session. I also had read in this forum that instead of jelqing at 60-80% erection, jelqing at 40-50% could be more effective. So I made these adjustments.
Well, from here it all went South: loss of sensitivity, softer/rubbery erections, less frequent morning wood and most noticeably, in flaccid state, couldn’t (still can’t) move/lift my cock when ‘squeezing’ my butt. I only have a response from the Kegel (related) muscle. So I thought, ‘this must be all part of the process’, since I’m seeing gains already.
But in my greedy pursuit of gains, I overlooked the beginnings of damage. Two or three weeks into new, more intense Newbie Routine I found your post on EQ and immediately recognized something was wrong and stopped everything.

So again, a huge thank you man!
I could have gone weeks without really having a ‘check list’ to evaluate healthy progress in the PE process, which on paper seems so simple and harmless.

At this point, I’ve taken a long 3 month rest. No Jelqing at all.
Some of the sensitivity is back, specially on right and left sides, but not fully.
Morning wood is sporadically back, some harder than others.
Most worrisome, the lack of response while flaccid and the ‘less than’ rock-hard erections

I mention all of this, because I’d like to ask you advise and/or comments, before I go to see an MD for this condition.
I realize there are some members with medical background in this forum, so perhaps you would know who I could discuss/PM to.

I’d like to have a better understanding of my condition, so I make a clear case to an MD and be able to request any tests that could make sense. I think this forum is a good resource for that.

So, what are some ways to increase EQ?
My EQ is not very great, and that probably explains why I’ve been on a 2 year long plateau despite serious effort.

I’ve read people suggest the Angion Method and kegels, pelvic floor relaxation and rest, but they don’t seem to do anything for me.

Just wanted to share something.
There was a time when I started PE (again) and in that time I read about watermelon and how it improve Erections and stuff so bought a lot of watermelon and always drunk a glass of watermelon liquefy with lemon + PE (wet jelqing 10min + Stretching 5min + Horse grip I think its called) + NoFap + after every routine I did Edging while watching porn (really hard not to cum but was able to handle) + Kegel before going to sleep + workout almost everyday, My erections where 10/10 I was so surprised in my EQ, was getting random erections all day, morning wood so hard that sometimes it hurted, my flaccid state was always engorged, overall I would say that my EQ was 10/10, but then my erection were so great that I started to masturbate again + increasing my stretching routine.. My EQ went from 10/10 to 5/10.no more morning woods, wet dreams, random erection, engorge, my flaccid state even decreased.

Now I’m trying to get it back after a break.. Trying to quit masturbation again and take it easy with Stretching routines cause it seems that I must be more cautious with stretching, maybe first 2 months doing 5 minutes stretching routine.

Anyway that’s all I wanted to share, EQ plays a big part in PE and maybe the most important.

I think porn consumption will destroy erections more than PE.

I agree with 1jelqatatime, porn is the cancer here because over-training is an easy fix. Just stop training for a few days.

Please can someone help me I’m very desperate, I started jelqing more than 2 years ago and I lost it all, my EQ, my size all. I won size very quickly the firsts months but I lost all that the next few months. Right now I have 1,5cm less than what I have before starting, I had more problems I don’t won’t to write again, I done 1on 2off with 50 JELQS no more never more, one day I put ice on it and I had an erection with like 2inches more than usual with more girth, only during one night the next day I had a weird sensation like something was fixing but I never recovered that erection and that size, I’m trying to get Medical help but is too slow I’ve been asking 5 months ago for an urologist, has anyone any method for fixing this? I try it iodine, subliminal, rife frequency, ice therapy but I can’t get a solution
