Yay, I'm Gaining

I know a great deal about the children of Aulë, whom they name Mahal in their secret tongue. It is one of the most moving and beautiful stories in the Ainulindalë.

Just seeing the Canadian flag and the name triggers the association with the movie before the dwarf.

Sadly I know of what you speak. Don’t you worry, once my account is 20 days old I will be changing my avatar to the Son of Gloin. I read all the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, the Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, and The Book of Unfinished Tales 1 + 2 :) .

Wow, incredible gains! I wish I gained that much in my first 2 weeks. I pretty much gained nothing in my first 2 weeks. Congrats! :)

Patience is a major virtue when it comes to PE.

Before you order a pump, make sure and check out Gprent’s thread Selecting Your Cylinder Size. From all accounts, it’s a lot more reliable than the recommendations provided by the cylinder vendors. They seem to consistently recommend cylinder size that users ‘size out of’ fairly quickly. While it is gratifying to get bigger and need a larger cylinder, it shouldn’t happen immediately.

I have read that thread thoroughly already. I agree with you about the vendors trying to conveniently pick sizes that require you to purchase another cylinder.

My measurements are so exact because I measure in centimetres and then convert to inches with a converter (my eye actually isn’t sharp enough to distinguish a 1000th of an inch :) ). And all my measurements are bone pressed to help truly measure gains. I have heard that not measuring that way can create more inaccuracy which I believe to be true as it makes perfect sense. Best of luck to you on your gains.

Olorin is the Quenya name for Gandalf. At the time of The Lord of the Rings, Quenya was not spoken in Middle Earth (the movies were innacurate). Mithrandir was his name amongst the elves of Middle Earth then. Amongst the Southron and Haradrim he was known as Incánus, and to the children of Aulë he was recognized as Tharkûn.

Wielding Narya? I do not believe Narya possessed a power to quell a Balrog, but Glamdring certainly did.

He is of the Maia of Manwë, which explains his unique relationship with the eagles. :p

Sorry, I just meant that the fight scene with the Balrog was tight, and just mentioned Narya to hopefully show Mr. Happy that I used to be a LOTR die-hard. My favorite name for him was Mithrandir… So tight. My first born son will be named Mithrandir, he’ll get all the ladies :) .
