X4 Extender Adjustment Length

New member here so I can’t post in PE devices. I just picked up an X4 Labs extender and I have some questions on how long to adjust the extender to. Should it be 1/4 inch longer than my EL? What was best for you in the beginning? Any other advice you could share with me would be awesome!

Some extra notes; I have foreskin and I also bought the variable tension springs as well as the quad support system.

Hi. You should first put your penis through the base of the extender, and grab with one hand and pull out your flaccid penis, to find the flaccid length, and adjust the extender to your length. But adjust the extender so that your glans is almost in front of the extender, in order to let the strap/noose pull downwards behind the glans, and not «through»it.
If you have a vacuum type of extender, someone who have one must help you about the adjustments.

has inscribed lines on the base rods. They represent tension in grams depending on which one is Coverdale when adjusting the length of the rods with the adjusting knob. Check with the directions to determine what each line represents in tension.

You should start at about 600 to 800 gr.
