After another week of the Newbie Routine I’d like to start doing something different. I despise the long jelqing sessions. I’ve seen some very small gains in length from the routine and my girth has basically remained the same.

Should I focus on either hanging or clamping seperately for a few months, and then switch to the other?

You could do both at the same time but it would have to be very moderate. It all depends on what you want to gain. Hanging is more for length while clamping is more for girth. Of course, it is possible to gain a slight amount of girth while hanging and a little length while clamping but those are secondary results.


Zomgpp clamping is a very dangerous exercise. Wait till your penis is more conditioned, then you can start.
Run a search, you should find good advices about both hanging and clamping.

I really am only concerned with girth. I want to gain 0.5”. Maybe after I gain that I would care about length, but this is all I want right now. I find jelqing to be very tedious and a lot of the time I feel my jelqs are not quality jelqs, no matter how hard I try. The only jelq I find effective is c-grip with a high % erection. But I don’t have the dexterity to use this grip for the entire workout.

Is there something else I could do for girth?
