Worried about losing firmness

I have been jelqing on and off for the past few years, but before I settle down and start a long-term stretching and jelqing routine I was hoping to read a little bit about improving the strength and “hardness” of erections. I know that proper technique and the appropriate amount of recovery time should prevent serious damage, but can these techniques, in the long term, cause weaker erections?

And while we’re talking about it, I suppose I’ll tack on another question. I don’t have trouble “getting it up”, but I do feel that my erections could be a bit firmer. What sort of exercises can I do to improve the hardness of my erections?

Yeah iv been worried about this to, would also like to know what others have experienced through prolonged PE.

Make a search for that, you’ll get a lot of threads on how to improve the hardness of your penis with P.E exercises, supplements, losing weight, wearing a Ballzinger or a Blakoe ring and doing some cardio work.

Yes! If you do not get enough recovery time, you force (apply a lot of force or you increase your work out duration e.g Jelq for 1 hour or hang for 2 hours straight without taking rests) during your work out and you try some advanced exercises when your penis is not conditioned for.

Also note that an improper life style might cause weak erection. E.g not enough sleep, being stressed and not eating properly.

I found great improvement on the hardness of my penis when performing Kegels and Jelqs.

Again make a search and you’ll get more information than I have just provided.

From my understanding, if your EQ is beginning to suffer, it means that you are doing too much and need to back off on one or more of the exercises you are doing.

Thanks, that thread outlines a good common-sense approach to PE. I am confident that I can avoid the injuries of over-training.

This is really what I was looking for. Properly performed jelqs obviously increase penis size, but do they also increase erection quality?


Starting Jan 2009 - 5.9375" EL x 5.5" EG. Jun 2009 - 6" BPEL x 5.5" EG. Nov 2011 - 6.5" BPEL x 5.2" EG

Goal: 7" EL. Girth is fine as it is, but any incidental gains are welcome!

6-7 years ago I PE’d for about 6 months, mainly consisted of jelqing and I had the most rock hard erections I’ve ever had. Even with advanced techniques, everything I’ve read points to PE adding to erection quality, not taking from it.


My goal is to be the best me, mind, body and soul, PE is part of achieving the best me.

Same.

To back up what padawan said though. Foods you eat, being overweight, the amount of cardio exercise you get (blood circulation) etc. These things play a part as well. So the PE part could be fine, and there could be another “weak link” causing poorer erections etc. Age would play a part as well. Or it could be that your dick is beat up and need more rest. But yeah usually in PE whether you gain or not, hardness in erections is a usual standard benefit for everyone.
