Word of caution

Just a word of caution to newbies(like myself :) ). I had to take 2 weeks off to let my penis heal. I was doing dry jelqs and by the end of one jelq session, I looked down and realized that I had ripped off a good chunk of skin from the base of my penis(bottom side). Took 2 weeks to heal to the point where I can do PE again. Plus, where it healed, it’s not kinda discoloured, more pink than the rest of my penis. I might have to switch to wet jelqing!

Ouch.

Be sure to trim your fingernails. I’ve pinched skin in that area when mine got a bit long.

Thats why we tell newbies not to do dry jelqs! Do wets, and be careful!

There is nothing wrong with dry jelqing. I’ve only tried wet jelqing a few times and didn’t care for it.

Well, it wasn’t THAT huge of a chunk. Oval shaped, 1/2 cm X 1 cm

I triied dry once and found it to be really uncomfortable. The feeling of a wet jelq is…really nice.

I don’t know how I WOULD dry jelq, the skin always slides with my fingers. Wet for me is good so far.

I prefer dry jelq to wet for several reasons

1) its a lot cleaner and more convenient
2) I can force more blood into the glans

When dry jelqing your grip stays fixed at a location on the skin. The skin slides along with the stroke.
