I’ve been Peing for about 2 months. No gains so far. I attribute this to being lax with heat application(Alright I’m probably a hardhainer also - there I said it). I can’t PE in the shower because my hand always slips(I’m uncut) and I’ve been very remiss with the hot wrap, often skipping it all together.

I’ve also only been stretching for about one month. I try to do about 30-40 minutes a day, sometimes split into two sessions. And I jelq - dry - for about half an hour.

I just got a IR Lamp and I’m going to try and be a little more consistent with the heat.

My question though is should I even bother with jelqs? I’ve got approximately 6 inch girth(sometimes it measures lower sometimes higher) and I’m indifferent to gaining any more. Plus there’s the theory of girth hindering length. Unfortunately my length is the exact same as my girth, at around 6” nbp.

My reasoning is that if the only aspect of gaining length from jelqing is from stretching the ligs then why not just do more stretches?

Jelqing is the backbone of modern PE. The reason it is still good is it conditions your penis to endure much more difficult exercises down the line. Think of it as the boring calasthetics that they make the football players do at training camp. You don’t want to do it, but you increase your chance of getting hurt and sitting out the season without it.

Also some guys have made massive length gains off of just jelqing alone. Though this is very uncommon. It never hurts to try. The cost is only your time.

Remember your % of hardness when you do them. The lower the % the more for length in theory, while the opposite being the higher % leads to more girth.

Just try and find time and master the basic stuff and be very reliable with it and progress will come. You can always stretch also, but don’t foirget your good buddy Jimmy the Jeq. Try and throw him a bone too.

TT’s advice is sound. I jumped right into hanging myself, but I think jelqing first would have been a good precaution.

I really like my heat lamp. Before I got started I studied a lot of articles on heating, and the hot water in the shower and heat lamp seemed to be the favorites for many people. Hottub and bathtub are the same idea. I got one of those clamp-on “brooder” lamps with the procelain socket at Home Depot, they were next to the extension cords. I got my heat lamp there, too. Then I just clamp the lamp onto the edge of my desk, and throw a towel onto my swivel chair, so I don’t have to sit on the plastic ‘simulated leather’ covering. I let a little of it hang down over the front of the chair.

After I sit down I just pull the towel up and ‘scrunch it up’ to cover my balls and set my little digital egg timer. So far, I think about ten minutes is good, fifteen at the maximum. I sit about 18” to 24” away from the light and point it at the ligs. I haven’t decided yet if it’s better to cover the penis from the heat, or leave it out to warm it up also. I’m still working that out. A couple of times I went up to 20 or 25 minutes under the heat (due to distractions) and that’s when I felt the ‘pull’ in my penis and had some temporary numbness, so don’t overdo it. IR heat does penetrate deeply, no doubt about it!

I AM convinced that the heat makes the ligs and tendons more ‘plastic’ instead of rigid, and it is of great help.

Definitely do some jelqing. Jelqing will help you in EVERY aspect of PE. Like twatteaser said, it conditions your penis for harder exercizes down the road. Jelqing is VERY important, especially if you’re a beginner. If I were you, I would focus on jelqing alone for at least the first 3 months, and be as consistent as possible. If that means that you only do 15, 10, or even just 5 minutes of it a day, then fine. But do it EVERY DAY. That’s the one thing that really gets a lot of people, and why a lot of people don’t gain, they simply aren’t consistent in their routines. And especially with your girth, you needn’t worry about anything else but basic jelqing. Your girth might actually gain a little from basic jelqing along with length gains…that’s what happened to me. :)

Now, the only thing I see that might be bad on your part is that you’re dry jelqing. That’s actually a bad idea if you’re a beginner IMHO. It’s more intense and actually hits your girth harder than your length, which you don’t really want, trust me.

If I were you, I would do some WET jelqing for at least the first 6 months. That way, you will definitely gain some length (at least I’m pretty sure…I’ve never heard of someone NOT gaining length from regular wet jelqing)…and your penis, after 6 months, will be more than ready for anything you want to do with it.

Just like everything else, you HAVE to start with the basics and work your way up. Trust me, if you try to start out with high-level high-intensity exercizes, you will burn yourself out, and quite possibly injure your cock. There have been instances of guys hurting themselves from so much PEing, that they can’t even get an erection anymore…they just totally killed their whole area down there. Don’t be one of those guys, be careful, go slow, start out with beginner exercizes and slowly work your way up to harder and harder ones.

If you follow through with this, you will be very successful with your gains. You’ve already got some considerable girth working for you. With enough time (years, mind you), you might be able to get up to 7 or even 8 inches in girth. Whether or not you’d want that is up to you. Also, your length could get worked up to 8 or 9 inches with enough time, if you just stick with it, be safe and etc etc. =P

As far as doing stretches goes, stretches are good but they only stretch the ligs and whatever else is down there…it doesn’t actually do anything other than temporarily stretch your penis out a little more, but it will easily revert. Only with jelqing, especially wet, will you cement gains. Stretches in PE are just like stretches in regular exercize…you use them as a warm-up or just to help “roll out” your penis every now and then, keeping your cock nice and pliable, but you can’t depend on that solely for gains. It just doesn’t work that way man.

BTW, just in case you’re wondering, huff, I think I was one of the more uncommon ones. I started out with around 6.5” BPEL and after 6-7 months of solid, everyday wet jelqing, I arrived at 8” BPEL. 1.5” EL…while my gains weren’t MASSIVE, for basic wet jelqing and only 6-7 months, it was considerable.

I still do basic wet jelqs every day, and I’m now around 8.5” BPEL…and I’m still gaining. I’ll probably hit 9” by next summer, but only if I keep up the basics along with the more advanced stuff I do. If I quit wet jelqs, I guarantee I’ll stay at 8.5 and while I won’t lose, I won’t gain either. Wet jelqs are the most important thing to do (and keep up with) if you want length, IMHO. Everything else is secondary.

I’ve never heard that wet jelqs work better for improving length. Anyone here want to second Phreak’s assertion?

I’ve read from a guy from another forum that he was doing just wet jelqs; he said that he was doing it 0% errected and helped him to gain .25 inches a month (and no girth).

So I think, like some other guys here posted, that when you are jelqing with nearly no errection you should gain only lenght.

Do some stretching-exercises and jelqs with no errection and it should work for you!

I think I can second phreakk’s assertion. I made most of my initial gains in both length and girth from jelqing, and very little stretching, because my glans was too sensitive (at the time) for me to do the stretches effectively.
