Will smoking hinder my gains

I apologize in advance to the mods. This is the only place that I could post a thread. I’m sure one of you guys will move it accordingly.

I’m trying to stop smoking cigs but it’s hella hard. I know smoking effects the circulation. And good circulation it what you need to do PE properly & see good EQ. So do I need to just buckle down if I wanna see good gains or would it not have that much of an impact? I plan to stop smoking regardless but I just wanna know.

I’m not sure if it would hinder gains or not. I read a post last night where someone said he smokes and drinks quite a lot of caffeine and has had some great gains.

I smoke and I gain. I have not measured since my sig but I know I have gained.

Would I gain faster if I did not smoke? Maybe.

Yeah in the back of my mind I think I would gain more if I didn’t smoke. That’s why I thought about getting one of those ball zingers just to keep the blood nice down there. I thought it could be right after a workout to stay plump. But I am not sure if that’s what the exactly do.

A better question might be “Are you going to quit?” There are a million reasons to quit which have nothing to do with PE. But yeah, in addition to that, the one million and oneth reason is that it doesn’t help your vascular system, your lungs, or really anything, so it does not aid PE, and if anything it hinders it. With that said, you’ll still gain while smoking— it’s just that smoking isn’t very smart.

Would two or three cigarettes a day restrict my blood flow much? I smoke occasionally, but it’s not like I can’t go a day without one.

I smoke about a pack in two-three days depending on work and stress level from school. I use to smoke way more. I have gained a good bit, but nothing since I cut back last month.. Oddly enough.

Take it from a guy who was smoking almost 3 packs a day at his peak.

Just stop smoking NOW. If you keep doing it your going to get hooked a lot worst that you are now.

Quit smoking!

More blood circulation you have the better EQ you will have!

Sex > Smoking IMO!

From my personal experience I would say that yes smoking will negatively effect your gains.

I think I’ll try to quit, I don’t smoke a lot unless I’m at a party or something so I don’t think it’ll be too hard. Plus I’ve never bought a pack, I usually just get one or two from my friends.

On the other hand, will drinking hinder your gains as much or more than smoking will?

My experience of not gaining post-newbie-gains until I quit smoking.

It’s funny PE would be what got someone to quit smoking.

It will 100% hinder your gains, if there’s one thing I know it’s health and anatomy.. Drinking excessively also.. No bueno.

If you’re stressed out and you need something, see your doctor, take a xanex here and there and it will help you relax.

Cigarettes are simply a horrible choice.

Agree.

Not only did it help me quit smoking, it also helped me quit; caffeine, fast food, sugar, being a lazy bitch and not going to the gym, smoking excessive amounts of pot, binge drinking…uh, excessive masturbation…i am sure there are others.

I love PE like a fat kid loves cake.
